:fp: The Skyline comes with the 1.66a patch - so everyone should have that. Go see if you can enter the Lexus dealer up north to be sure - but if he hasn't bought it, I doubt he'll have it installed.

I was going to suggest atari.com.au but that site doesn't even load for me :) I purchased it twice from a USA Metaboli online store when it first game out. -
Well - I have a Golf Comfortline (158PS) I think. First thing I did was upgrade the ECU software via APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW Porsche and Skoda Vehicles. (I'm sure they're available in Europe too) for an extra 45 BHP (203BHP) and extra 80 nm of torque (320), which is awesome for a 1.4L engine (supercharged and turbocharged). Yesterday - I installed a SprintBooster plug in between the throttle pedal and the controller which removes the Electronic Throttle Control lag that most new cars have, which really unlocks the torque in my car.

I honestly think if the physics were like GRID - those who wanted more of a sim would sigh but get over it. But when Eden keep asking for feedback and say they're working to bring back H mode and make it better, only to find each new update is still horrendous, makes this little proverb ring true: "Expectation postponed is making the heart sick". :)

More cars + peds require more Internet bandwidth to sync them between the server and all the players. You could in theory increase the traffic in offline mode - but then you need a better video card to keep up, I'm not sure how fully utilized the console hardware is. I thought the braking sounds in TDU2 were better than a lot of games - instead of always screeching/skidding - you can actually hear the brakes squeak instead of the tires disintegrate. Sense of speed isn't too bad either.

Hehe - I noticed the old Euro TDU forums were back up yesterday (still locked of course) - you can read a lot of our ideas in there and see how we potentially shaped the game (I promise we never talked about 'social' features there) :p

Meh - you could play Connect4 using pens and a notepad if you wanted. I'm sure there are Flash-games for it on the net as well :)

Man you've really got too much homework. Aston Martin AND Audi trailers have already been released. I suppose I better let you know about the Ferrari one while we're here. :p Good thing you didn't play on PC - I've had to wait up to 20 mins for a cruise to resume after parking at a lighthouse or elsewhere.
