  1. More interested in how close (or far) the gap is. A lot of PC gamers who only come here for mods might not even notice this thread, which is fine by me, so it could be closer than you think.
  2. Welcome to the Australian TDU forums.... At least until Europe wakes up :cheeky:
  3. Looks like a Honda at the front and a BMW at the back :) Never heard of that particular car
  4. Quick survey: Which platform have you played TDU1 on the most?
  5. The car won't be as shiny as normal if it's been driven through the mud, you realise? ;)
  6. Is that a desktop PC or a kitchen appliance on the left? :p Love the Lamborghini pic
  7. That's one groovy night-light you've got there t. :p
  8. Street names
  9. So 92,000 to 94,000 people better have a good reason for not playing TDU still :cheeky:
  10. I have one small concern with Diablo's TDU exclusive pic of the Lancia. For such an old car - the headlights seem too strong (i.e. brand new) - they should be a bit dimmer and make it harder to see at night (unless you turn on the high beams). Re the headlights pointing down - I thought they're sposed to point downwards so that you don't blind oncoming traffic. The high beams don't point down, which enables you to see better, but blinds the oncoming cars. In new cars (particularly German ones), you can adjust the angle of the headlights to suit your environment, but the user manual warns that you should point them down a bit.
  11. I completely agree with you. iRacing is not a game, it's a simulation. Real race champions endorse it and practice with it, so if it's good enough for them, it's plenty good enough for beginners.
  12. A considerably cheaper, safer, and easier way to find out if you're any good at racing and to practice would be to get yourself a good PC, wheel/pedals/gear shifter combo and an iRacing.com subscription.
  13. And you thought the Wayne Wover was bad:
  14. They could always release the game in Sep and release a patch in Nov
  15. Thanks for the votes guys
  16. Maybe the website rigged this vote as well so that TDU didn't win
  17. Oh, I forgot to say thanks for that secret info you emailed me earlier too. I won't tell anyone. :cheeky: :jk:
  18. how did you manage to take that photo of those birds like that?
  19. Seen it before (see the E3 thread). Nothing new was mentioned.
  20. About a week or two.
  21. I think NFS Hot Pursuit will take care of this game mode. I still want to be involved in police chases in TDU2 on both sides of the law though. And not boring ones where you only have 3 minutes or something before game over. There's a whole island to be used.
  22. You don't want your subwoofer too close to your PC - as the magnetic effects can affect your hard disk drives. I keep mine about 1.5 meters away (that said though, I've just noticed my PS3 is right next to it).
  23. You can actually uninstall IE in Windows 7 now - and you Euro guys would've had that Browser Ballot screen as well. It's winter here. In Melbourne the weather is usually between 10-15 degrees celcius (have got a lovely day happening today though). In Summer you get a few weeks around 40. There was one very hot day when we had bushfires north of Melbourne which pushed it up to 47 degrees. That's 117 degrees Farenheit. But yeah - weather is very nice here.
