If a software developer knows he has a number of things to fix on his to-do list, he isn't going to release a Beta to everyone. When I write software, I test it myself, then get one or two people to try it out, and make sure no bugs are found before I release a Beta. If no-one else reports problems, I'll make it a stable release. If Eden have 100 developers, then they potentially have 100 beta testers in house. Once they are all satisfied that the game is pretty much ready, then is the time to release a beta and test server load, before everything is finalised, DVDs are produced and shipped, etc, etc. If you want to speculate about the beta, make it obvious to everyone that you are speculating. Posts that are written in a factual style with no valid source may be removed so that we don't confuse our members and visitors. Thanks =) As of this second there is no known information about the Beta.

I thought it was just the stig with a wig :) I'm pretty sure it was James drifting the Boxster (it's not like he hasn't had the time or opportunity to practise) :) Plus, as he said, the Boxster is a very easy car to drift.

It was alright. I didn't laugh since I was on a crowded train coming home from work when I watched it. :) I'm glad they got the Stig to roll the robin after the online responses last week.

Thanks for the extra info If Eden is reading this, then yes - game modes/tournaments on the circuits would be good (there are probably a hundred people or so still driving around O'ahu Raceway right now), and yes, the car management in TDU1 was not good. I've often purchased a car twice because I couldn't spot it in my unsorted car list via the house. (In noob mode you could start a race and sort alphabetically). If I buy a car, the game should ask me where I want to store my other car, not just pick one at random. I should be able to reserve garages so that only Ferrari's can be stored there, for example. When I list the cars to pick one, I should be able to sort by name, class, power, etc, just like when entering a race. I also hope the photomode is improved so that you don't litter my hard disk with '.small' files as well. The lossy jpeg files were also annoying - go for high-quality png files, even if that means my Photos folder becomes larger than the actual game installation folder :)

Maybe tuning a car to make it quicker also makes it harder to drive... Or hopefully they've enhanced those physics since then ;)

Ta, the trick was to right click the thumbnail instead of the larger pic. I don't have FF, but it works in Opera 10.60 just fine.
