  1. Nice pics Dan. There's no 'photos-per-post' limit here (obviously)
  2. That frame-by-frame dude obviously hasn't read anything about TDU2 or seen the last 2 trailers... where's a face-palm when you need one? ;)
  3. Some game stores can fix scratched DVDs for a few $. You cannot play the DVD version of this game online if the original DVD is not in the drive.
  4. Of course TDU2 will have clouds. Keep in mind that Ibiza is a different location, so the weather is different there. The graphics in TDU2 are much better than the first game, and the game is not complete yet, so there's no need to worry this early. Gotta love venomscotts reply though: You can't have rain without clouds ;) There are some pictures that show clouds in this thread: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=19482
  5. Uhh, isn't that what aquaplaning is? You could see the roads being very wet in the 3rd trailer.
  6. You can bust players to damaging their cars, but hopefully they don't make it as easy as NFS HP2 was:
  7. Thanks  I'm sure the Eden devs wouldn't spend all their time working on new online features only to use a technology that would cause more issues, in other words, GFLW probably isn't that bad in itself, but has been badly implemented by a lot of other developers). Using GFWL may also help to rectify the problem that TDU1 had where the XBOX 360 received DLC packs and the PC players received nothing for a few years until the mega-pack came out.
  8. Yes, as long as they implement a way for you to search for and join people that have completed similar challenges to you (was annoying if you always did the same challenges but never finished the harder ones).
  9. Not happy about GFW Live, but hopefully it works a lot better in TDU2 than it does in all my other GFWL games. I also hope we don't have to worry about profile corruption with 600 challenges available (or is that including the MP races)
  10. Best looking TDU night mod I've seen to date. I'm not a massive fan of the way the moon looks though with those dark spots, but then again I've never seen the moon from the northern hemisphere before :)
  11. You better fix the tooltips for the twitter and facebook buttons then :cheeky:
  12. Windows 7 is really cheap compared to older versions, you can get the OEM version of Home Premium from the PC shop for around $140. I got the Ultimate Retail version on the day it came out for $398. The Ultimate Retail version of Vista, by comparison, was around $700. Even Windows XP Pro still sells for around $200. I'm currently using a 'Mountains' themepack which I downloaded from somewhere ages ago.
  13. It was sunny at the time. I also had the camera zoomed out as far as it would go, along with the other setting zoomed ight out (can't remember it's name right now), which is why the shape is weird.
  14. Nice, you'll have to get some more shots from the Thailand roads, some nice views there.
  15. Here's some more shots for comparison. The draw distance is much better than before, and the trees look better.
  16. Other lurkers tend to read threads like this, which is why we add the little disclaimer. Glad you got it sorted.
  17. Video interview here: http://e3.gamespot.com/story/6265399/need-for-speed-hot-pursuit-hands-on-
  18. Welcome to TDUC "accept", not "except" ;)
  19. Hyundai TopGear spoof ads: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LO5j3epzeZs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMJ9vGBavxE
  20. Thousands of people still play TDU regularly on PC and the XBOX 360. That obviously isn't the case on the older PlayStation
  21. 95% likely to be Not True. The game will be out that week, so hosting their first beta test then would be pretty pointless. The game DVDs would have already been burnt and shipped.
  22. Can't wait for GT5, can sortof wait for NFS, and that Forza demo was incredibally... boring.
