  1. Maybe dealers in TDU2 could let you Test Drive certain cars for more than 2 minutes so that you can test them on the track? If they're in the car, they could advise which way to go like in real life along their main routes, just like friends would in multiplayer passenger cam mode. I wonder when the first person will crash on the track and fall off the building.
  2. Congrats. I just have to win 11 more MP races and cruise and make up another 3,500 miles on my 5th profile and I'm practically there. :)
  3. Since I'm too lazy to change the controls for the bike, my technique is to slow down before the turn (often to first gear), turn the wheel as hard as possible and nearly stamp on the gas, as this makes the bike turn quicker. You can feather the throttle to get the desired racing line. It might not be the quickest way to ride the bikes in TDU, but I won every SP bike race and time trial like that (G25 with H Shifter enabled)
  4. Thanks duckie *throws fish* http://au.gamespot.com/shows/start-select/?series=start-select&event=startselect20100521
  5. http://au.xbox360.ign.com/objects/142/14234988.html A 5.0 "Meh" score
  6. Need for Speed Undercover. 'nuff said
  7. I think we should wait for the game to be released :)
  8. Are you using a NoCD hack? Otherwise try reinstalling the game.
  9. Same, buggies = arcadish in my past experiences (s'pose DiRT2 is the closest thing to the exception there).
  10. I've also played 1nsane, but wouldn't recommend it (unless you're after cheapo arcade w/ bad graphics game that has multiplayer, tiny maps, and Capture the Flag.
  11. Just a quick program that means you no longer need to use regedit if you don't want to. If you have TDU installed more than once, and what to install a lot of car mods to a particular instance (say the Alpine mod), then use this program to change the path to where the Alpine mod version is so that when you go to install a car mod, it automatically chooses the right folder (otherwise you'd have to change it for every car you installed). http://www.adrive.com/public/6607123602d5715ba6217aca4eb8a0f690f359e6cad2c42067aa0a5484ac8c0e.html Load the program Click Browse and select a valid TDU installation folder Click Apply Close the program
  12. Not sure what the point of that post was, but if you want an easier method, you can use this program that I quickly made: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?p=316850
  13. I forgot something when I went to delete the APC mod :)
  14. Glad you like it. If anyone wants to check out another small-ish game or two, head over to Steam and grab Crash Time III (it has a few offroad segments, but mostly it's a free-roam style cop/detective game with missions/story mode. If you like it (which I'm sure you will), then you can also grab Crash Time II, which isn't quite as pollished as the first game (i.e. you have to press F5 every time you start a mission to enable the G25 or other gamepad), but if you can ignore that it's also very good. The graphics and physics are very good, although there is no H shifter support or cockpit view. As Tom mentioned above, the most important thing is the fun factor, which is what these games have in spades. The cars are not licensed, but there are ones that resemble a BMW, Porsche, and Jaguar in the game from memory. There are a variety of other cars, even a go kart, tank, truck, etc. No Ice Cream van though. Official trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTG64MpHRVU
  15. You'd have to pay for TDU2 as well, and even if they did put toy cars in the game (which I can be pretty certain that they won't), they would most likely release them as DLC, which you would have to pay for. So yeah, go check out BP :)
  16. How do you know he wasn't talking about the German TDU Central website? (just kidding) I'll copy the podcast onto my phone and check it out later on
  17. Didn't I read that they were 'exotic', or is that just the Chinese Whispers effect again?
  18. That would be a shame :( *disconnects PS3 from lounge room and moves it into bedroom* btw is now a good time to mention that I'm a bit of a programmer and have done the whole bug-finding rigmaroll thing in the past? :D
  19. How did you miss this one TDUCk? Looks like supercars are confirmed :D
  20. Thanks for the extra pics CLR. I could use some of them as my desktop wallpaper if there were 1080p copies of them :)
  21. You'll have "offroad" tracks suitable for rally races (and by extension, supercars if you so wish), and there'll also have to be "offroad" tracks that require SUVs with 4WD. Try crossing O'ahu from East to West in a supercar and see how often you get stuck.
