1. Slightly more on topic
2. Speed Car Productions I don't know whether to laugh or be upset that you don't remember. Unfortunately this is blocked because of its music.
3. Wasn't it a story of some spy chick named Sophie who came to from the mainland to O'ahu to escape her previous contracts, before being offered a job by Senior Constable gary at the Honolulu Police Department?
4. Who is the new Stig and will he side with Top Gear or Jeremy Clarkson? - Mirror Online
5. I just picked a random newer build - the one I used was the first one released, which should have stopped activating weeks before launch. Being able to activate 8 again on a clean install does lend weight to my thoughts of malware screwing things up.
6. More info on Stunts, which reminds me of Burnout Paradise FreeDrive Stunts | | News | The Crew
7. The question on everybody'sAnders' mind is, will there be an Esprit?
8. Hair getting a bit squashed?
9. Install RogueKiller by Tigzy, do a few passes of that, then install the free trial of MalwareBytes AntiMalware Pro. While you're there, install the free version of Anti-Exploit. If worse comes to worse, try the Refresh/Reset OS feature in Windows 8 after backing up your data.
10. So this came out of nowhere, but does kinda-explain some of the pCARS articles that RedBull have published over the years. Red Bull already have mobile air race games, but now a PC version is being developed by Slightly Mad Studios exclusively for PC, due for release in 2016. The graphics engine does look familiar as a pCARS player but the environment (particularly mountains and water) seems to look even better. Hopefully VR headsets are made to be compatible as this appears to be a great VR experience in the making.
11. Activation changed in Windows 8 for OEM devices such as laptops/tablets/hybrids with OEM keys being saved inside a chip on the motherboard as part of UEFI. I had a Toshiba laptop with a corrupted key which required them to pick it up under warranty as reflash a new key from their server. If this is a PC you built yourself and then loaded Windows from DVD, then that's not going to apply. You can try going to System Properties, then click 'Change Product Key' and enter it again. Make sure the variant you installed (Standard/Pro/Pro with Media Center) matches your key. As a side point, buying the Media Centre feature replaces your normal Win8 key. All we can do here is just ask further questions and provide links you've probably already found via Google, so best to call Microsoft and let them resolve it.
12. DSF has some truly great gamepad arcade physics but I'd never try to play it with a wheel, in difference to TDU1 (even noob mode). The funny thing (from a PC perspective) is that a lot of these classic NFS games with relatively good handling come from a time where PC players weren't all unified with a common controller, but rather a whole variety of different ones, mostly with no analog inputs, and many more only used keyboards. With worse input and processing hardware we somehow had a more believable arcade experience.
13. You know, I think that might be a goal (by me) Poop Sorry! Well, that was surprisingly effective! Hmm, good hit Uh-oh Yeah this is going in  See the thrilling conclusion (and many more great moments) in:

15. News arrives on Intel Skylake CPUs, with a high end i5-6600K and i7-6700K processor aimed at gamers in the spotlight +ve's <> Reasonably priced <> 14nm, reduces TDP (power consumption, heat generation), allowing higher overclocks <> 16 PCIE 3.0 lanes, gives you more options for SLI, NVME SSDs, and USB 3.0 -ve's <> Requires new X170/LGA1151 chipset motherboard and expensive DDR4 RAM <> These motherboards aren't futureproofed with the PCIE v4 slots expected in 2017 <> Stock speeds are only 10% higher than last year's equivalent. Also, 10nm Intel CannonLake CPUs are now delayed Some benchmarkers are suggesting that if you have a good Intel CPU from Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge, or Haswell, to stick with that for now. If you have a less-than-amazing CPU in that series, then maybe you'll be able to get a good deal on a high-end model being phased out. Make sure you check for compatibility first. Be sure to update this thread with any other new news in the PC Hardware world worth sharing!
16. Yeah it seemed like the driver made no changes to his driving style with the wet roads... as if they have no effect on the handling (yet). :( Drift spec seemed a minor improvement but looks more gamepad- than wheel-friendly Monster truck playgrounds are part of the map so you can muck about on them in freedrive in any vehicle Bikes seem ok although the camera movement might need adjusting to make it easier to plot a course through traffic Stunts is just another HUD element I'll want to turn off (aka FRIM from TDU2) Instant challenges make a welcome comeback from TDU1, being able to place checkpoints on or off the road, and switch cars via the mobile-garage mid race may make for some interesting strategic play (depending on how long you can make the races)
17. Drift cars + wet roads... this might just be about to get good!
18. TDU2 made instances a bit more resilient from such feedback. Is this something that is theoretically doable in an update to Project Paradise? Of course, you don't have to, just curious.
19. Same story here. Worked fined in 8.1. Pretty sure I tried compatibility mode.
20. But Forza is still very much Xbox exclusive. Whereas other titles were Xbox and Windows 10 exclusive. I'm guessing the way they prevent it working on Win7 is by using DirectX 12. Maybe Horizon will be the first to dabble in PC. Also Diablo, did you never play Spyro during your childhood?
21. Was watching bits of the Xbox stream on YouTube but it kept skipping ahead by a few seconds, quite annoying. So confirmation that Xbox DVR is the successor to Windows media Center, but then why can't the Xbox Win10 app recognise a TV tuner in your PC and do everything from there then?
22. My only worry is what if VW want a cheaper/worse-looking design for this Ypy (Yippee?) so that customers aspire to the bigger, more expensive Amarok. Kind-of like the Gol v Polo v Golf v GTI.... and then you submit a design that looks better... Of course, they could always hire you to design their next concept car instead of a people's car. Cross fingers.
23. Looks very good, but also looks to have a similar basic shape as the Amarok. Being VW, that might be a good thing. Enough design touches, differences to make yours more exciting though.
