  1. Yeah, I still haven't edited a group ride from 12 months ago.... and still on the GoPro HD 1... GP4 is good but it's still a pain to use on a bike unless you're doing it all the time. I'm interested in the Sena camera but waiting for a v2 hoping they fix a few things. In the meantime 2013 Street Triple R Test Ride and Review - YouTube
  2. Mau, could you perhaps refine your competition entry, to make it more first person? And add more smileys! :) turboduck Competition Competition. Win a Steam key for Project CARS! - Page 2 | turboduck forum

  3. I clicked the button 'send xxx a tweet' and typed in my 140 chars. It ended up in my feed but not theirs. Ah, so it should be fine, for you (and everyone else) to see it I should have put @officialTriumph at the end of the message.
  4. The wine/whistle is there at all RPMs, give it the beans and it ROARs. But I'm not allowed to do that yet. (1500kms to go)
  5. For those not yet aware, Richard Hammond is now on the tube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC24PHSDf2ZsNiRJW4oDTmog
  6. The mirrors are completely useless! They show a small portion of road next to my rear tyre, and I can't adjust them upwards any further. I don't know how Twitter works but I think I've sent @officialTriumph a [brief] 'what on earth were you guys thinking!?' complaint.
  7. Funny I hated the red wheels in photos but they do look good in person. Self preservation is high in my list of priorities. :) I'll be taking it easy, the bike seemed happy to cruise at 80kph in 2nd gear to my surprise (would normally be in 4th or 5th on the Honda) - conversely the Striple is also happy doing low speeds in top gear. It does have a quick shifter which may turn out handy for an eventual 0-100kph test but I have to keep the revs under 5k during the engine run-in. 3.x seconds seems achievable based on videos.
  8. Honda CBR500R ABS > Triumph Street Triple RX ABS 471cc > 675cc 2cyl > 3cyl 48bhp > 110bhp 192kg > ~168kg

  10. Do we have any more entries in the pipeline? I'm going to bring the deadline forward to Thursday 30 April to make sure the winner has a chance to active the key before Steam convert them to retail (just in case it matters).
  11. Well that was a 'rush' Geddit? :cheeese:
  12. I'm afraid we can't be of assistance if you are not using the DVD to play. Maybe check eBay for a USB DVD-RW drive.
  13. I only like the Golf 7 technically/theoretically. My parents bought a normal Highline one and it just doesn't do much for me. It's good, but a bit numb, and I don't fancy the interior. I much prefer the experience I get from my car. So I'd go for the Audi S3 this time around, except that I've driven that and felt a little let down compared to the gorgeous interior photos. So I'd probably be content to wait for the next version, and perhaps get a faster/better bike.
  14. Indeed, I'm a terrible understanderer on these forums Do you have the TrackIR box enabled in the last page of controller options? That would probably disable those key mappings.
  15. Those controls refer only to situations where you are in a car (driving/garage/dealer). I can't think of any other time where the game would let you 'look around'. Panning around a car in a garage/dealer requires the mouse. Only TDU2 let you wander and look around iirc.
  16. WMD members can see more here (or wait until you get your hands on a Limited Edition).
  17. When has anyone ever asked you what car you drive? They either already know (have seen it) or don't care. Bikes are a different story as it's more just for commuting (in my case). Heard the 5cyl engine in real life. Yes it's good, but I'd rather a lighter car. The one in the RS3 specifically also hangs in front of the front axles which creates an understeer issue (eventually).
  18. hmmm, the engine is more interesting than the whole car. Audi might put one in a TT. Shame they're currently using a heavier 5cyl.
