  1. You're not kidding; it took you an hour to react to that post. ^
  2. Yep I've got the normal one with the Tab S.
  3. ... and you always seem to be on Steam 20 minutes ago. Jeans are standard cut
  4. Yeah an i8 is kinda exclusive but also kinda normal so you'll probably come up against a mixed bag of owners. If you owned a supercar you must surely realise that the government can also search by make/model/colour and not just by the ID plate.
  5. How much is a 970 over there? Building a PC is really easy compared to some of the other technical stuff you get up to. Link us to a few nearby PC parts shops and I may be able to have a look later.
  6. I didn't really get to see either device, I just went in, told them which variant I was interested in (Black 64GB Edge) and we proceeded upstairs to switch my service over. Started playing with it later when I got back to work and the S3 lost service. I can't really compare battery life to the S5, plus with the first few days you tend to use the device more than normal so I can't say too much on it. One thing that does annoy me is that the included 'fast charge adapter' is too darn fast. I'd normally chuck the phone on charge at night then pull it off in the morning, but this thing will give me 50% extra battery in something ridiculous like 20 minutes. So I may revert to slow overnight charging by connecting it to my PC (which any of my active Steam friends can tell you is on 24/7). Couple of points so far: Dragging icons from one home screen to another seems easier with the defined edges, Pressing buttons on the edges sometimes takes a couple of attempts. I really miss the dedicated menu button on the left of the physical home button, which is now a multi-view/recent apps task switcher doodad. I'm sure there will be an app to change it back to my preference sooner than later (haven't looked yet). Who uses back pockets these days? This isn't the 80's. Need my blender for daily smoothies, so I'll leave that to the experts.
  7. Yep, but being my first glass phone I'm finding it a slippery little sucker. Survived it's first drop test initiation tonight with flying colours. Can't even put it on my leg/lap when sitting as it just slides straight off. All of the 'edge' apps/novelties are turned off by default - haven't even gone looking for them yet, but let's be honest - we'd only get the edge because it looks purty. :)
  8. Has a handy rc feature called SideSync 3
  9. Hi zednem. Extra slots in TDU is a recent development, so your best bet may to participate in that thread and work with the mod author.
  10. Will schedule a TD SMP for this when the build hits us.
  11. I'm out for dinner tonight otherwise I'd say jump in the steam chatbox and we'll pick a pc game to play. What happened to all the Xbone players anyway? Week 3 has now been changed to Battleship. Take on Anders and Camel. If they're around.
  12. It appears that there may be a few giveaways for Project CARS. If you see any in your travels feel free to post them here! Renault Sport are giving away 60 copies of Project CARS via a competition on their Facebook page. Red Bull have 10 Steam keys to giveaway.
  13. No support for hosting servers puts me off... but at $30~ I might sign up and have a play for just one month to see what it's like. Maybe they just mean that there's no static IP which would make hosting a server more difficult. Or perhaps the virtual PC shuts down when you're not connected to it.
  14. The headlines from the video (and YT comments) are: * Monthly payments (no lock in contract) that are 50% off if you preorder before launch, for the life of your [continuous] service * Get full access to the Windows environment, where you can install games and other programs (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite) * [Game] server hosting and torrenting not permitted * Select between an 8GB AMD card or 12GB Titan X. Get free upgrades to new hardware as they become available. * $30 USD gets you 128GB of SSD storage. Add $x/month for more storage. * Client provides options for high quality, balanced, and low latency. * Joystick/wheel passthrough * Use Promo code J2C for an unknown free gift. At $30 per month, it would take years just to pay off a Titan X graphics card, let alone the rest of the system, and compared to other server hosting plans, this does represent good value, assuming this does everything it claims. You just need a PC whose hardware and Internet connection allow you to watch 1080p 60FPS YouTube videos smoothly, essentially. So, are you tempted?
  15. Note sure if any of you received this email: Given that I have an ad-blocker installed, I've never turned on ads/monetisation on my videos, so not sure why I got the email tbh.
  16. I still have savegames from 1995... why would you delete them? Docs folder does get messy but I actually store all my proper documents in OneDrive and let the default one get messed up.
  17. Not sure what happened to our box of modder badges but after many hours I found one under the tduck vending machine. So congrats, Pator. :)
  18. Last on my upload list for today: I might have set the AI too hard. But it was proper gnarly fun trying to see through the spray and avoid contact. :)
  19. First race should be a good watch. Just when I thought the win was in the bag...
