Haha why don't you just record a commentary track to add to the video - good sum up there. I did record the replay but honestly at night time it just didn't look that good. AI headlights don't project and light up the track like the player car does, just white dots on the front of the car. Guess it's a limitation of the PS3 as to being able to compute all those complex shadows that would result. If I wasn't in a car that was 150PP lower than what was permitted I would've blitzed them in a boring fashion like I have in too many career races so far. The lack of an AI difficulty setting is a big disappointment and something FM5 easily wins with. At least most of my time spent in GT will be racing much harder people online, and with the new Qualifying and other online race features in place and upcoming community features, along with the great driving feel, GT6 will be a good platform for online leagues.

Just brought my GT6 Anniversary edition home. Looking at the precision pack voucher code that apparently expires on 31/13/2015 (not a typo) :hmmm:
-
And my car is so jerky at low speeds it's probably worse than patch driving a manual :( And I still need to respray the bonnet/hood
-
for what it's worth You could've Googled that if you didn't know... it is a thing, honest :cheeese:

Ah ok, I've never walked in snow, let alone try and push a 1.4 tonne vehicle on it
-
Possibly a silly question... but why wouldn't you push the car instead if trying to pull it? I'm guessing so you can stop it from crashing into something :) Cheap code scanners just give a basic code that you type into Google, which gives a basic description in about 5 words. You'll have better luck posting that info on an Audi forum where other owners may know. You could also try this: VAG Group ElsaWin 4.0 + NEW 4.10 FULL Pack (UPDATED 1/12/2013)

Interesting the video trailer still had the Nissan Deltawing in it :eyebrow: And fwiw the massive twin turbo in the Huayra means the forced induction sounds are actually louder than the engine a lot of the time

Look closer :cheeky:
-
Wrong, it crossed the finish line first (that was the last lap) ;) Or I could post this one

Hey Kelvjy - have you seen this weeks DGS theme yet? Got a feeling you'd have some good contenders

For the record I sold my 2008-built gaming PC to someone for $300 (well most of it, he still had to get his own PSU, HDD, and Windows). Definitely under $500 though. I'd say it's on par with the next gen consoles.

If they are just boys they probably won't be able to afford the console anyway. I'm sure everyone is expecting a big drop in sales when comparing FM4 and 5. It will be interesting to see how GT6 sells by way of comparison.

Because there's no hope of my wheel working on Xbox One. By the time I could justify buying a new wheel FM8 would be out

Yeah, I've got a feeling that by the time GT7 is out (hopefully by then existing wheel support is confirmed) I'll be getting a PS4. GT5 wasn't perfect but it handled well and has provided of enjoyable gameplay.

I've watched the two ISR videos where they show their first hour RAW playing FM5 and GT6 and based on that alone Forza looked better. Better visuals Better sounds Better AI (yes really) Better presentation Better first car choice All of that aside though, while I will be picking up GT6 this Friday, I have no plans to get FM5

Some games/platforms like to market their graphical quality, and some like to instead talk about frame rates. In a perfect world we'd have both. Hardcore PC owners can even buy 120Hz gaming monitors. But does it matter? Not always. But if you've ever played a driving game that requires quick reflexes (i.e. open world driving games with lots of traffic to avoid - Midnight Club 3 was a shocker for me personally), if you can quickly switch between 30 and 60FPS while driving, I really do notice a big difference, and driving with precision becomes a lot more easier and enjoyable. If you've got a PC capable of 60FPS a good way to test switching between 60 and 30 is to setup FRAPS to record at 30FPS. For those who've not given it much thought before, this German gaming website has published a short video that compares 20 FPS, 30FPS, and 60FPS. Watch it a couple of times and see what you think. http://www.pcgameshardware.de/LCD-Hardware-154105/Specials/Die-besten-Monitore-LCD-Tests-Bestenliste-1074792/
