  1. TDU1's open world is great and all - but we often tend to find ourselves driving on our favourite twisty roads the most. With that in mind, pCARS' "Country Roads" (as they're called atm) may be the next best thing, albeit with proper physics/handling. Take a look at the shared pics, signup (you've only got about 2-3 weeks before they stop accepting new pre-alpha testers and allow tool-pack upgrades so hurry up), and download the latest Team Member+ build. Junior members will have to upgrade or wait for the first April release. Remember that if you spend 10 or 25 euro on a tool pack, you'll get the same amount of money back in the form of a discount on the final game when it releases. If you get the Full Member or higher tool pack, the game will be free for you. You may even receive more money back than what you spent (although this isn't intended to be viewed as an investment opportunity). ---
  2. At least he got the right game  Although a comp that allowed both GT5 and FM4 would be... interesting
  3. In a normal game where you pick the car and track in game, the race loading time is much less. With ACR you pick your car and track in the website, then you load the game directly into the race. Then the race finishes and the game quits, then you have to load the game again. When I last played you couldn't even restart the current race without the game quitting on you.
  4. http://www.simnewsdaily.com/auto-club-revolution-hits-open-beta http://autoclubrevolution.com/en/ Haven't played it in a few months - it has a few merits but having to load the game each time you want to race is annoying for me.
  5. Red intake looks nice. Not a fan of the green block though (looks too eco) :p
  6. You and patch seem to be the main contributors this thread :hmmm:
  7. Awwwwwww :glomp: Looks like Milli has been moonlighting as a singer again
  8. Was that photo taken when you saw Harley's photo?
  9. erm... you could've washed it first :p
  10. I looked at it. What else was I supposed to do? :oook:
  11. Funny how the auto-merger didn't work there  Leave the post for Diablo to see if you want
  12. Found these for the Polo GTI - just gotta find out if they suit the Golf 1.4 TSI as well. Forge Motorsport | Alloy Fabrication The Twincharger engine will be discontinued, the equivalent Mk7 Golf will be a hybrid (similar power to my car in stock form). Don't forget my boost pressures are increased with my APR ECU tune.
  13. My supercharger has been making a nice wooshing sound recently - only I've discovered the cause isn't quite so nice, nor is the drop in power: Hoping to grab a replacement from another damaged Golf from some garage on the cheap, or I'd get some performance silicone replacements if I could find them for my car in the right shape, since VW reckon a new stock one would cost $130.

  15. What happened to the Tue Mar 19 downtime? http://forum.tdu-central.com/threads/27904-Heads-up-drivers!-There-will-be-routine-maintenance-for-the-following-platforms
  16. I'm guessing you didn't spend $70 on it then
  17. If anything it's more likely ported from the PC to the consoles. That's what SMS will be doing for pCARS.
  18. I have purchased a fair bit of stuff (or at least spent a lot of money recently) but I can't think of what all that stuff was - needless to say no photos  Got the car serviced and purchased slim-line weather-shields today...
  19. This game is looking pretty good. I hope there's a way to drive normal cars in the open world as well (via mods or other means).
  20. nah *pulls out baseball bat*
