  1. Yeah - turns out having a non-circular wheel takes a bit of getting used to when taking tight turns (i.e. underground multi-story carparks), but I'll manage :p
  2. You can keep your rights if you write & send them a specific letter by a due date. The Class action suit filed for the privacy details leak will still be going ahead for those who are a part of that. New PSN user agreement makes it harder to sue Sony: class actions out (sort of), arbitrations in -- Engadget
  3. I was hoping he'd crash into that large gas tank and explode for some weird (awful) reason.
  4. Thanks guys. I uploaded a couple more pics here.
  5. Servers were rubbish today - you guys suddenly disappeared and I can't get anyone now. Dusty is still around but I can't connect to him either. Never saw Ozz on the map. A couple of photos from today:
  6. Wimea bay - near Nobe/McLaren. Where the boats are. Look for Ryzza5 (Champion, Group B)
  7. Washed the car and took a couple of photos: No, of course I don't watch it while I'm driving :cheeese:
  8. Yeah, easily done. Just undo two clips behind the wheel so that the airbag/horn pops out, then use a wrench to get the wheel off, then pop the new wheel and its airbag on. Get the laptop out, connect it to the car, change a value (to tell it we have paddles now), and job done. :) Push this metal clip down (plus one on the other side of the wheel) to release the airbag Final result: Just like the Golf R steering wheel, minus the R badge at the bottom (I didn't want a GTI or R badge since I don't have that model)
  9. Only the GTI, GTD, and R come with DSG paddles in Australia. Hence why I had to buy this wheel from the UK. I could change manually using the gear stick selector though.
  10. Quick reminder about tomorrow's cruise in case you need to reinstall the game, grab some mode, or get some other errands out of the way.
  11. I purchased this: To replace this: The main reason for the purchase is the addition of DSG paddle shifters (it was on special (new), well below half price).
  12. Maybe we should include a picture with our choices ;) One interior and exterior shot permitted
  13. So it was YOUR fault that they announced and released TDU2 too early
  14. I'm giving you the hard job picking ONLY ONE car - the one that looks best in your opinion. Post your answer below, and I'll add a poll in a week for the most popular choices. To make your choice ever so slightly easier, may only choose production cars (not concepts). If your post mentions more than one car, I won't count your post towards the poll. :) If there are different versions/models for different years, let us know which year/model you prefer. To start the spherical object rolling, I'll remind you of my favourite car, appearance-wise: the McLaren F1 (1994).
  15. Cool - never really see many good police chases in Australia :)
  16. Who cares how many people we have here now - Diablo is one of their biggest fans (consider time/money spent on this place), has direct communication with the dev team + some Atari staff, and our staff were invited to visit the dev team to test and offer feedback long before the beta began. I know Diablo still plays TDU2 (mostly casino), and he initially did this as a joke, but you can be sure it'll send a message to a few people if they catch wind of it. Not that I expect that'll change anything. :) Why isn't this thread offtopic yet?
  17. If you trim the top of your signature image, you can make it look like the duck is dancing on the roof of the car :)

  18. All the TDU2 threads went severely off-topic (which ironically is what The Bin subforum is for) :)
  19. That has to be the funniest thing I've read all day. Ozz is right - we've wated patiently for months. 7 months after release all we have is one DLC patch for 2/3 platforms and a FAQ that says they're ignoring our clear feedback. 90% of us have "binned" (uninstalled) the game at home; it is only fitting that these forums represent that.
  20. Not if you had to sign into LIVE and verify/activate purchased games before you could play them (or at least in order to play online). I assume they would use the same techniques as the consoles. If they're adding these features at the OS level (as opposed to an addon-application) it should have decent security. That said, there are some who still pirate Windows 7 and X360 games.
  21. I read about this a few months ago but it has come up again today at the MS BUILD conference. Basically Microsoft might make Windows 8 or 9 so that computers running the new OS with good hardware might be able to play X360 games. At the very least it appears that XBOX Live features will be integrated into Windows 8. Xbox Live functionality confirmed for Windows 8 -- Engadget If it means we can use our G25's with Forza then I'm all for it, but if X360 games do become compatible with PCs in the future, then there's pretty much no reason for devs to make PC versions of games (in theory). It appears that they just mean that the little games/demos you find on Live will be available, and not the full games you buy from shops, but we'll have to wait and see what MS is cooking up.
