  1. I'm sure the non-cruising-pro-ramming players will gradually disappear as time goes on and better games are released.
  2. meh - this isn't that kind of forum (the TDU2.com type). Some things were clever, but spoiled by others.
  3. At this stage I'm only playing TDU2 when a cruise is organised or I see a bunch of friends in Steam playing it. (1-3 times per week)
  4. Ryzza5

    Mb's 106 S2 Rallye.

Looks great - and nice seats in there as well. I assume there's no computers intefereing with your fun on the B-roads (ESP, TCS, ETC) :p
  5. It made for some funny noob threads on the old official TDU1 forums :) That and the thread where someone got lost and couldn't find their house due to not knowing about the Map function
  6. Or just make the Ferrari tunable in the next patch - problem solved! :p Although tbh I don't like switching to 7spd DSG cars as I have to keep switching from H Shifter + Clutch to Sequential (TDU1 was better with this).
  7. Did you have zooming enabled at all?
  8. Yeah, you really need a [good] wheel to appreciate GT5
  9. They have a whole department for that?
  10. No - Bluetooth is not the same as LAN, and is much slower
  11. I can tell you that is *not* a crossover cable - it is a "Straight Through" normal cable (notice 'Straight' in the title). Richard Smith :p or any electorics/computer shop should have them in stock in varying lengths. A few things to keep in mind: 1. How is your modem connected to your PC? Ehternet or USB? If it's Ethernet, does your computer have a 2nd Ethernet port to connect to the laptop? 2. Do you know your networking basics? If you use a direct crossover connection, you don't have any DHCP server (unless you set this up on the computer), and you will to pick IP Addresses, etc manually. 3. You'll also need to setup 'Internet Connection Sharing' in Windows. There's no point asking us about setting all this up, as a Google search will be just as effective. How about? Have you considered buying a cheap network switch from a PC store? You could connect the modem into the switch, then connect both PC's to the switch. ethernet switch, Laptops Computer Peripherals, Consumer Electronics items at low prices on eBay India
  12. I've seen the reviews that you're probably referring to and understand what you're getting at, but he's still got to show some respect to the developers, some whom they have person aquaintences here. If one of our forum buddies released a TDU1 mod that we didn't like, I'm sure we wouldn't go calling it rubbish, etc :) You can tell if a game is good or bad even if the reviewers are being polite - which is the main thing that counts. :p
  13. That's funny, because besides from iRacing, GT5 is pretty much the best sim I've played. The only trick to drifting is (1) to make sure you've got the right tyres - ie Sports, not Racing), and when using the G25, be prepared for the wheel to want to yank 900 degress in one direction with a fair bit of force. Those who always use 900 degress would be more used to this, but I usually have mine set to ~300. Tuning also has an effect on drifting. The more you setup a car to go around a track quickly, the less it'll want to drift (usually). It does take a bit of getting used to though, ESPECIALLY after you've been playing TDU2 for a month  What controller were you using? I imagine a gamepad wouldn't do this title justice.
  14. So Eden just have to make the 360 controls assignable then
  15. Shame you can't just use two controllers at the same time on the Xbox like you can on the PC, or use the D-PAD on the wheel for moving around (the Fanatec has a D-PAD, doesn't it?) :)
  16. Connect your PS3 to the Internet and find out ;)
  17. Go for the "Penniless" trophy :p The online races and seasonal events will get your bank account healthy again over time.
  18. Has the PoTW banner image been changed yet? ;)
  19. It has a lot more than iRacing or Live for Speed, as far as comparisons go.
  20. To be fair on our poll here a lot of the members gave TDU2 a 5 or around that mark.
  21. Since the "hack" is interfering with another process (TDU2) your AV views it as suspicious, which is why it warns you. It doesn't mean it's infected or anything - you just have to ask yourself if you trust the person who made it or not. Microsoft Security Essentials isn't worried about the progam on my machine.
  22. If the CRC servers are up and you're a bit of a mathemetician (and a bit lucky), you could theoretically make money by uploading challenges, and getting the entry fee:reward ratio just right. If lot's of people enter, you could stand to make a bit. The devs reckon they didn't want people who had preorder cars to get a Veyron SuperSport straight away so that the single challenges weren't spoiled, which is why they still cost in game credits. If you ask me, it would then seem logical that after you've done all the SP challenges the cars should become free - but that's not the case. Welcome to the forums here as well.
  23. I'm sure you will make sure that the people who can make sure that the right people see this for sure will make sure that they surely see it.
  24. I wish the Veyron SuperSport did - I'd have an extra $1.8m in my bank account. :(
