DLC 6 for Xbox was made after PC (finally) received the MegaPack DLC, which was the only official DLC.
We got a lot all that DLC a lot cheaper than Xbox players (don't forget they also had to pay for Hardcore mode) and as you said most of those cars have since been modded, plus we have loads of other mods that Xbox players missed out on, so don't feel too hard done by.

It toggles if the camera should pan left/right gradually or immediately.

After deleting the radial.cdb file we would often create a folder with the same name (including .cdb).  This would prevent the game from creating that file again.  The file was never necessary but often caused game issues after some time.

Did you keep the installation files for the first version of Platinum; you can manually copy what you need from there.

As part of the installation process you will download the original Platinum mod then update it with patches.  So just copy the weather files from the original mod folder and paste into your game directory in the same subfolder (Euro\BNK\FX).

Congrats. Were you tempted by any of the other new action cameras like the DJI Action 4 or Insta360 Ace Pro?

Try going into the game options and setting Allow Online Interactions = No.  I'm not 100% certain but it may allow the police chases to occur in freeride so that you don't need a second offline profile.

You do not need a Gamespy account (the service no longer exists), but you will create a fake one in-game when setting up your profile.  If it fails to connect, try again while using any public VPN.

TDU1 always had issues recovering from an Alt+Tab.  The best solution is to avoid playing Full Screen.   There's a Windows app called Borderless Gaming that some have had success with.  Perhaps you can do some research into using it with TDU.

I get the feeling those who've played previous FH games but not previous TC or TDU games will be more hyped.  TC fans will complain about the dramatic map size reduction, and TDU fans may also complain that O'ahu here bears little resemblance, being squished.  Then there's the high price tag, the grindy gameplay loops to afford overpriced vehicles, and constant push of MTX and season passes. 
Underneath, however, there is a fun and beautiful game in a location with a nice balance of nostalgia and new exploration.  The physics so far look good, at least for the stock vehicles - I don't know how fully tuned vehicles will feel.  You'll find more discussion on Discord.  I know I'd like to play it, I'm just having a hard time stomaching the price, especially if they're likely to heavily discount the game like they have with TC2 over the years.
