  1. ^Nice shots. --------------------- Saw (and heard @ 1:00  ) this thing last weekend: -Leadfoot
  2. Shame there were only three voters. :( I guess I forgot, too. Anyway, how does the theme photo equipment sound? Tripods, cameras, lights - that sort of thing. And my inbox now has some space. -Leadfoot

    1. How the hell did you get a model of that so quickly? Nicely done, though - looks excellent. :) -Leadfoot
    2. ^Insane. What do you typically change in post? The vintage look on your pictures is fantastic. -Leadfoot
    3. NFS: Porsche Unleashed (as it was called in the US - the name varied from country to country). Easy win. Interior views, fun courses with multiple routes, dynamic weather, and a huge car list, all at a time when racing games were stoic and track-based. I remember I played the Alps course for years afterwards, and when I was younger would pretend I had to run "missions" from different towns on the track to others (oh, children :cheeky: ). An amazing track. Plus it had the greatest intro video of any racing game: It's the little things that make it special, too; the used car market was accurate and varied, and if you knew the most efficient way to repair cars (oh yeah - damage), it was a way to make money. Blinkers, head lights, and high-beams all worked, and there were numerous other things that made it so great. And that intro is why a 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo, black-on-black, with five-spoke wheels is second on my list of Porsche cars. :) EDIT: And the career mode, which progressed over 50 years. Plus it had that "test driver" course, which was a secondary career mode without any real purpose, but that was extensive and been given a lot of development time nonetheless. EDIT2: HP2 also had a nice intro movie, and a soundtrack that I have on a CD in my car. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
    4. ^No shame in that. Old Bricks are cool! :) Auto or stick? -Leadfoot
    5. The ol' HittingRedline.com is technically my blog, but like TDUFreak, it's mostly photos and videos. :) Nice shots. :) -Leadfoot
    6. Hey, it's a rare color. It would be annoying to live with every day, but it's kind of neat for a superwagon. :cheeky: Is that shot from a full shoot, or just a lucky snap? :D -Leadfoot
    7. Slipstreams or the something else? The ones on that EK in your sig look cool, too. :) Whatever you get, congrats. -Leadfoot
    8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbZQ4WqhFRU Really builds over the duration. :) -Leadfoot
    9. Hey, Porsche dealers themselves aren't exactly common. Nice find with the Speedster! -Leadfoot
    10. Thanks. :) I've been looking at the footage again, and although it would be cool to draw out the shots a little bit more, it wouldn't be too interesting as a two-minute clip (just the same angles with slight variations). Plus shorter can also be interesting; one of the teachers at my school wanted to include that Mercedes video in a school film festival, but made me make a 1:00 version that ended up being just as fulfilling, but also viewable by a non-car person. :) TL;DR: I was going to, but it would get boring. :( ----------------------- Also, May looks like it's going to be very busy. In a period of two weeks in late May, there are seven events. Can't attend all of them, but hopefully you guys will get to see some very rare cars and possibly some racing action. ;) -Leadfoot
    11. Thanks. It's not so much it getting taken down, but the uses and applications my videos have (my website, which sometimes has ads, future revenue stuff, etc.). But it's no big deal. I've gotten a lot of compliments on this music, interestingly. --------------------------------------- Here's a (really) quick edit of the McLaren. More pictures hopefully coming soon, but I just woke up after getting back from NYC at midnight, and I'm exhausted. -Leadfoot -Leadfoot
    12. Nice. Type-R and Si Civics make great additions. :) -Leadfoot
    13. This video's made the rounds, but it's still awesome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSByjqMGtaU -Leadfoot
    14. Interesting lists. :hmmm: -Civic (5MT; my daily) -Subaru Legacy Wagon (with hand controls :cheeky: ) -Legacy Sedan (these three are family cars) -Saab 900 (1995, not the cool one. Was beat to hell, but a manual) -BMW 328i (5MT, but I didn't get up to any real speed) -Jeep Grand Cherokee (no steering feel. At all. ) -Hyundai Sonata -Chevy Malibu -VW Jetta (Driver's Ed car. Got it up to redline a couple times in sport mode :cheeky: ) -1950s Mercedes 220S Cabriolet ^Drove this one around a friend's driveway because it was a manual and he stalled it a couple times. Four on the tree, massive pedal travel (clutch and gas  ). A very, very hard car to drive, and incredibly different from modern cars. That's about it, for now. :) -Leadfoot
    15. Love 'em all. A real car guy's collection (Volvo next to Ferrari next to Audi Quattro). ;) -Leadfoot
    16. Neat. Probably fun to drive offroad. :) -Leadfoot
    17. So now I need to learn ANOTHER development engine? :cheeky: -Leadfoot
    18. Out of curiosity, what did you adjust in the edited pic? I'm trying to explore new directions (trying to create a specific style for my shots), and like the warm, summer-y look, but haven't perfected it yet. Any tips? -Leadfoot
    19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFHG3K4CFW0 Very similar to "Don't Bring Me Down" by ELO, except faster and without that weird bridge about "Bruce." :p -Leadfoot
    20. Does a crop count? I have the original if it doesn't. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -Leadfoot
