  1. :( Sorry. It's only the people who buy them new, for the most part. Classic 911 owners are probably friendlier. :) -Leadfoot
  2. Saw a nice silver Elise. Since I live in a resort town, we get Elise's and similar small convertibles more so than other rare exotics. Still amazingly nice, though. :) -Leadfoot
  3. I think he was just doing the ducks because we're on TDUCk. :) -Leadfoot
  4. You're forgetting who we're talking about. :p But joking aside, that would be very nice, especially with 200 cars. Or a "Car of the Week" system, if a constant daily update might be too much. -Leadfoot
  5. Impressive quality for Sims there - or maybe I've just been ignoring the series for too long. -Leadfoot
  6. Nope! :D I like the "same spots in both games" idea. If I had time, I'd make a 4th anniversary movie, but I'm not sure if I have time. I have been quietly considering doing so for a while, so I have some ideas. But it would be nice if Atari did something at all for this. -Leadfoot
  7. It's more this than anything else that irritates me here. Yes, I understand how that's bad - it depicts people slaughtering other people. But what about all the other games that depict the other people slaughtering the people? No politician says anything about demoting the wars they want to support, but the moment someone does it shows it inversely, they get all hot under their collars. This reminds me of a school lunch discussion I had some years ago. My friends and I were talking about how common violence was or something to that effect. One of them spoke up and said, "Oh, my grandfather killed about a dozen people. Eleven or twelve, I think," and the whole table fell silent until I replied, "Oh, so he was in the military?" and she said yes. And then everyone just exhaled and went back to their discussions! One (and I kid you not here) actually said "Oh, that's okay." It's scary when you think about how biased our culture really makes us. -Leadfoot
  8. Say what? In other news, maybe Atari should run promotions like Criterion/EA with Hot Pursuit! Actually, maybe that wouldn't be a good idea. I can imagine Lee's tweets: @Leearigold: Atari planning test day for TDU2! Stay-tuned... @Leearigold: Currently bringing TDU2-stickered SLR from Cali to France. @Leearigold: SLR delayed. @Leearigold: Atari giving the SLR a special journey - the Mayflower inverse journey, a 3-month replica of the first pilgrims, except done from the US to Europe! Great fun! @Leearigold: Trying to convince models (people not cars) to come to show. Weren't interested in car-building process. Tried to explain twice... @Leearigold: Tried to hire celebrity singer. No money from building giant cardboard signs reading "Beyond Racing." @Leearigold: Out of orange paint. Only 1/2 can of white left. @Leearigold: TDU2 test day no longer public. Invite only! @Leearigold: Great showing! Seven people, excluding staff. Got great pics! Going to be making trailers! @Leearigold: Trailer coming soon of all the great times we had at the (invite only) TDU2 party! @Leearigold: Trailer of the great times we had at the (invite only) TDU2 party delayed. @Leearigold: In two weeks, I will announce the date of the release of the trailer of the great times we had at the (invite only) TDU2 party! @Leearigold: LOL, just noticed that 2688 people stopped following @Leearigold and 2688 started following @NeedForSpeed. Funny coincidence! -Leadfoot
  9. The eyes! They- they follow you! -Leadfoot
  10. EA won't tell Criterion anything of the sort. EA tells the developer to build it, then sets the prices. -Leadfoot
  11. Oh. :o Didn't know that, sorry. Well, Steam won't let me pre-order TDU2. But I guess I will when it does. -Leadfoot
  12. Now THAT I'd love to see! The tweets would be great! :cheeky: @Leearigold: Atari planning test day for TDU2! Funny coincidence! -Leadfoot
  13. Yup. Companies like Polyphony Digital/Sony and Eden/Atari don't get my $60 until they release the game. I'm not funding their delays. -Leadfoot
  14. That NSX - Where'd you get the no-stripes-on-single-lane road mod? Looks fun! :D -Leadfoot
  15. I like how people in Monaco park their cars diagonally on piers with the wheels turned just right... :cheeky: But amazing cars, and very impressive, artistic pics. -Leadfoot
  16. MASONRY: Okay, we have a new idea. DESIGNERS: Good, so we're going to be coaxing every last horsepower out of an engine? MASONRY: Mmm, not quite. DESIGNERS: Sound? We're making a Ferrari sound even better? MASONRY: No... DESIGNERS: Aston, then? MASONRY: Actually, it's a Bugatti. DESIGNERS: Oh wow! Unlimited budget, endless honor. Will we be making it even faster? What's the goal? 270 mph? 300? MASONRY: Actually... DESIGNERS: Man, this is gonna be great! MASONRY: We're actually going to add some gold. DESIGNERS: Um... MASONRY: And carbon fiber! You guys like carbon fiber, right? DESIGNERS: ... -Leadfoot
  17. Maybe we can hold that to blame for its barely-improved lap times. -Leadfoot
  18. Nooo! My days at aviation camp without a camera because I was afraid it would get sucked out the window of the Blackhawk have left me plane picture-less. But maybe I can dig out some dual C-130 shots... -Leadfoot
  19. Probably a screenshot or a new car. If it was a trailer, we'd have to have a release date, a delay, and probably a beta or two. :cheeky: We need MOAR! Give us MOAR! :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  20. Hard to decide between Scuderia_458 and Sponge, but I choose the second, mostly for the bright colors and crisp appearance. -Leadfoot
  21. [Captain Price Voice] Beau'iful. [/Captain Price Voice] ;) The browner grass brings back memories of trying not to move while tanks and soldiers crawled by... :) -Leadfoot
  22. I, personally, have seen better. And better. And better. And best. :p But yeah, a bus is funny. :D Nice pics, Penfold! -Leadfoot
  23. LOL, yeah. Huh? -Leadfoot
