  1. Car Freak. I watched my dad play through Fallout 3 and 4, and the artist behind that comic got it exactly right. -Leadfoot
  2. Watching him say he will "muck about" with wheel options "later" is torture. Just adjust the damn linearity! -Leadfoot
  3. [TUBE] and [/TUBE*] embed YouTube vids (without the asterisk). ;) -Leadfoot
  4. That would be the enormous blue elephant in the room. Right you are with that - it's not as bad as a Mansory product. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  5. DLC's should, in theory, keep the game going longer. As in, it extends the game's life once it's been out for a while. In theory, the TDU2 downloadables should be new cars that are unveiled after the game's release. The Ferrari Four would be the most recent example. But theory does not pay for Atari's four-year development schedule, so we have DLC's on day one. -Leadfoot
  6. It's their Achilles heel. Atari's marketing strategy promotes the game's "life of a billionaire" features, but in doing so they alienated the actual driving part. If you ask me, they've also forgotten about driving in the game itself, too. -Leadfoot
  7. My entry (click to enlarge): -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- I'm talking about modern stuff - I was never a big fan of old American muscle and generally hate American cars. However, in the last two years, the major car companies (well, two of them) have realized that building crap cars (as well as building good cars and not selling them in the US) isn't that profitable, and they've started to actually build some decent stuff. So anything before 2009 is probably going to be terrible and disliked by me. But there are several new American cars that have changed my mind. And if you want to bring cornering into the equation, . Then, if you want to argue, watch . Now we really should end this. Sorry mods. :o -Leadfoot
  8. Beautiful Porsche. -Leadfoot
  9. I tried that, waited a month, and tried again. Only one time did I get a reply with some verification instructions, but even after I replied with the "I can't do anything at all" answers, they never replied. I waited a month and tried again, but no reply. In total, I bought the digital download version three times because of this problem. The solution? Buy a DVD version. -Leadfoot
  10. I want the three minutes back that I spent saving that. :p If you want a larger version, here it is. And, Atari, if you don't release at least the F50, the SEL AMG, and 037, I will be unhappy. In fact, I may even go so far as to write you an email, and I don't care if you don't read it. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  11. So then what's there to compare (I'm on the American sports car side, btw, so I'm not actually arguing with you :) ). All I was saying earlier was that the only way Japanese imports can beat American cars is in speed. We'll use a stock GT-R this time; slightly cheaper than the Z06, but far more technologically capable. But the GT-R just doesn't have the road presence of the Z06 - seeing one (at least for most people) is not an event like it is with the Corvette. We should probably stop this debate, though. :p -Leadfoot
  12. Welcome, it's always nice to have someone make the decision to join! Hope you enjoy being part of the action. :) :welcome: -Leadfoot
  13. I know what's going to happen with this. It'll end up like the Black Ops playercard logo, and there will be some people who have no talent, some people who try to replicate other logos (like me, with my Ferrari logo), and others who will just go crazy and do some awesome stuff. Get ready for my Angry Birds-themed Zonda! :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  14. Not necessarily. Plenty of Civics, Evos, Imprezas, and Eclipses have the potential to annihilate a factory Corvette or Camaro - and even some fully-fledged supercars. But that doesn't make them special. You don't feel the urge to ask a Civic owner about his car like you do with a Camaro or Corvette driver. Likewise, your not going to want to ride in the ricer nearly as much as you would an American (or any) supercar. -Leadfoot
  15. BF2 > BC2 BF2142 > BF2 Therefore, BF2142 is greater than every COD! :odance: -Leadfoot
  16. Interesting videos, but it would be great to see them with the linearity adjusted properly. Glad to have another enthusiastic member. :) -Leadfoot
  17. Impressive! :) How do you match the camera angles, though? -Leadfoot
  18. "Several"? I certainly hope Atari decides to listen to the community this time around, because that may not be sufficient. We'll have to see. -Leadfoot
  19. Get it off, get it off! EDIT: @Iced_Bullet: But it doesn't, does it? :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  20. Wow, Aston! That's nice. -Leadfoot
  21. Yes it is. Ooooh, yes it is. -Leadfoot
  22. @Mb: A 406 Coupe would be really cool, at least from my point of view (it's not sold here, so I'm not familiar with whether it's really good or not). A 306 would probably also be fun (though without disgusting modifications). lol  -Leadfoot
  23. The original Zonda wasn't ugly, it was just ridiculous beyond comprehension. The big deal with it was it was so crazy, with its alien-invader look, that you had to pay attention, unlike the watered-down Lambos and Ferraris. But what I feared would happen (that Pagani would follow that trend with later models) seems to be happening. Except the Huayra doesn't look like a cool alien, it looks like one of the mind sucking things that waddles around and drools on people. -Leadfoot
  24. Here it is again for a nearby reference. I find the Fezza looks good from the side, while the Z3M Coupe looks more bulbous. Of course, the Z3 Coupe has that rare, niche aspect that makes it all the more cooler (especially when stripped out and converted into alcantara-interiored track day cars). -Leadfoot
