  1. I'm going to be missing my opportunity to go to an International Auto Show this year (Philadelphia, which is basically a repeat of the others). Glad you got to enjoy such a thing, though. :) And a Venturi? Wow! -Leadfoot
  2. Woohoo! -Leadfoot
  3. Weird, I can't quote you Ryzza, and your post doesn't show up in the posting screen. I wouldn't have pointed this out, but that really strange.EDIT: WHOA, it's gone again. I was going to ask what people's guesses were for future manufacturer trailers (if any). I'm going with Aston Martin (there already was one, I forgot) or Audi. :) Perhaps a Bugatti trailer, too, since there's quite a few models on the list. -Leadfoot
  4. Damn, TDU505! Those are amazing! Of course, I love city night shots, with the horizon glow and the artificial yellow lights in the foreground. And the light trials, well, they just make it that much more of a scene. :) @Llama: Whoa. That's... yeah. Whoa. -Leadfoot
  5. Lol, so funny to see the C5 among all those cars. I keep forgetting how rare those things are in Europe. @ that Scud pic. Thing is, I can't help but imagine it from far away, in the lower right corner of the shot with boats in the background, and with selective coloring... ;) -Leadfoot
  6. Can't be worse than this: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- That pic seems familiar, weirdly. It's from Google Images, but I suspect it's Ryzza's (or someone else doing a location demo) from a VERY long time ago. -Leadfoot
  7. The interior is crazy good, especially the GPS. Nice work! -Leadfoot
  8. lol, no problem, that's how I got my sig quote. :cheeky:

  9. Heheheh. In response to his first post, the Aston Martin in that video is the driving test car, used only in license tests. :) -Leadfoot
  10. Unfortunately, that's unlikely. One of the most complained-about aspects of the trailer is how the sounds are inaccurate (and differ from cutscene to gameplay). -Leadfoot
  11. Love it. My dad's played the entire game of Fallout 3 (plus DLC) and New Vegas, and I watched him play most of them. So I get that completely. So precisely correct. Motorcycle handbrakes were useful, too - you could make a really good mine with them, I think, but you never saw them. Plus you did have to carry them around forever until you found a workbench... Car Freak's got my vote right now. :) -Leadfoot
  12. Breach of awesomeness reserves detected in this location. :p Amazing pics, and quite a lot, too. -Leadfoot
  13. Beat me to it! Rrrgh! But yeah, TDU2's officially mocked on Jalopnik. -Leadfoot
  14. Nice shots, especially the last one. Are you using the Enhanced Reflections mod? -Leadfoot
  15. You wouldn't happen to remember the combo of environment mods you use, would you? I've given TDU a rest, but when I pick it up again, I feel I'll want to make it look like that. The world you've created with your mods is incredible, but which combo would you say is your favorite? I am personally a huge fan of the TDU2-style visuals you've posted recently. :) -Leadfoot
  16. *Awesome E39 Pic* Oh, the memories of NFS:HP2... -Leadfoot
  17. Yeah, I was trying to point out the visual aspect of that earlier; it's just a game. It has a lot of cars, yes, and some cool/unique stuff, but it's so repetitive. I try to throw things up by using the wheel now and again, but it's really just a game. TDU (yes, TDU1) is so much more involving for so much longer. I went a lot longer without modding than most of you, and entered the modding scene late (especially for someone who had the Digital Download version, released two weeks before the DVD release date), so my gameplay experience was vanilla TDU for well over a year. I didn't even finish the "drive every road" achievement until last month! And then the community comes into play, with the cruises and the ideas for new games (whether solo or multiplayer) - not even counting the mods. You just don't get that with games like GT5 or NFS. Forza inspired some similar stuff, but nowhere near the level TDU did. This is all I want for TDU2; I want it to be able to grow, and to keep me discovering more. I know that in the forum post-miniskirt simile, this was the equivalent of a winter parka, but I think we could all use a pro-TDU rant in times like these. :) -Leadfoot
  18. TDU2's graphics are actually REALLY good. It's an extremely impressive game, visually. Also, GT5 only has AA for certain areas, like photomode. If you play it, you'll see that there are sometimes horrible jaggies, especially in out-of-focus shots. GT5 also seems sort of flat and dark, almost too realistic. TDU2 has the potential to (visually, at least) be more entertaining to watch for longer periods of time. -Leadfoot
  19. Brace yourself, London! You'll be seeing these pretty soon: The first production LF-A is finished! [TopSpeed] :odance: -Leadfoot
  20. Makes sense. Especially since SBCriss's telescope one deserves at least half a page of comments. @SBCriss: Beautiful telescope shot! Lighting is very nice across every aspect. @Tom: Interesting license plate, and nice wall shadows. @SBCriss (again): Interesting light difference. What time was that taken at? -Leadfoot
  21. Cinematics, lighting, and animations are beautiful! That Bond girl character (Tess Wintory, apparently) looks almost real. And attractive, which is a change from TDU. :p -Leadfoot
  22. Nice! One more to add to the Subaru tribute garage. :) -Leadfoot
  23. It's a work-in-progress right now, but when it's released, you can find it here. -Leadfoot
