those restrictions are put in place to ensure a safe/fun environment, the forum has to cater for all ages and therefore must be careful with what is posted. Without rules we would have chaos. hello i'm on my second hp pavillion dv9000 the 17" 4gbram version. right first of all i have had this same problem. i solved it buy calling hp up. they will say there is no issue wiv the laptop, but say you know there is a fault after hp addmitted to me there was a design flaw they shipped my latop to america free of charge and replace mobo and all key components. it now runs at 40 rather than 80-100 hope i helped :D

Seam Carving operates on "seams", i.e. sequences of orthogonally or diagonally adjacent pixels that run from one side of the image to the other, one per column (horizontal seams) or one per row (vertical seams). Removing all pixels in a seam reduces the height or width of the image by one row or column; repeated selection of seams to remove can achieve any amount of shrinking.
