Hey all. Got quite alot of screenshots from various games on my PC, thought it would be a good idea to share a few. I'll upload more as i get them. Only gonna upload a few at a time though, no sense in uploading all 100-odd at once, right? Some are more 'serious' others are just random glitches and random stuff i see in games. Enjoy. Its possible I guess, although according to my PC my xfire is only using 8mb ram at the mo. It would speed up the system startup though cos it has to open, check for updates, login, etc etc

Got bored so felt like posting something. Title says it all really, what are your 5 most played games on xfire? Mine are: CounterStrike: Source - 212 Hours Call of Duty 4 - 134 Hours Supreme Commander: Forged alliance - 112 Hours Team Fortress 2 - 77 Hours Test Drive Unlimited - 64 Hours Doesent look like alot compared to others but i havent had xfire very long Most played this week - Team Fortress 2 - 18 hours (Should actually have the original Supreme Commander in there but its basiclly the same as FA. Plus without it i can have TDU in there to keep all you TDU fans happy :P)

9600GT needs a 400W power supply as an absolute bare minimum. If it wasnt for this i'd recommend it to you. Its a very cheap card that performs well. 500W PSU's arent too expensive but, thats up to you i guess.

Eh i think its pretty sweet, clocked up 20 hours on it so far, dont play it much anymore though. If its peeves you're after, mine are: Graphics are absymal at night compared to day time (Yeah ive tried Ultra High, makes no difference) Water has almost no texture unless you're very close to it, water reflections are nearly non-existent The actual story campaign is surprisingly short, I only needed to do 6 - 7 story missions and i was on the Southern District. (Took me a day though cos i was doing loads of side missions and gun-unlocking) AI can be annoying at times, some are oblivious to your presence when you're stood right infront of them, others can see you from miles away when you're crouched in long grass and hiding behind a tree. Overall it is pretty good, didnt hold my attention for that long though. Upsides: Original setting and plot, Nice big map, Replay value, love the fact that you have to make decisions that can influence the game, Buddy system is cool, Graphics are, for the most part, awesome, Lots of things to do, Guns look and sound great, the degrading thing is a cool extra, Very immersive..... blah blah blah blah

If you want the best mix of what you bullet-pointed, then Call of Duty 4 fits the bill perfectly.

Odd, the 180.84 Nvidia drivers mess the game right up for me, everything goes black and i can only see the map and waypoint arrows. Went back to 180.48 and it was alright again.

To be honest running GTA IV on a laptop, no matter how good it is, is always gonna cause problems. Its just a badly optimimised game, some people with awesome desktop PC's have trouble running just because of this. Just keep praying for a performance patch, thats all i can say really I get 20-30 fps usually, mostly hovers below 25 though, on: 2.2ghz dual core 2Gb ram XFX 9600GT XXX edition Vista 32-bit

Right, well changing the GRASS, BUSHES, details folder and pop-up distance made no difference at all :(. Then when i changed the OCEAN and GLOW INGAME values to 0, the game froze and crashed before even getting to the menu. Ah well, thanks anyway :).
