  1. The point is, the modders made their mods, they dont really care about the cars made by eden. Very selfish, but still I do the same. I don't make my cars for TDU1 go 500km/h just because some cars which were in the game from the beginning have wrong specs; I wont fix that because I simply don't do the job for Eden. I would say deal with it or try to improve it yourself.

Yes I am an a55hole at this point but I just cant read that anymore

  2. Yes, that's where they are saved.

Indeed, that could help. Just delete the "_old" and look for the latest backup - which should be the one with just "...Data_old.db" written. After renaming replace them with the tdu modding tools files browser

That should do it I guess

  3. The Database files are basicly a game registry which the game engine is reading. All about car slots, colors, rims, basicly everything about the driveble cars, houses, these and that. Included the car physics, yes.

Tdupk files are the files TDUPE produces, and only this program can work with it. Basicly to im-exporting car data between PE's. If you import a tdupk file into the PE and press save, you update a resource line in the database. I can go way deeper in this topic as I am working a lot with the database files very much, but I think it would be too much for now.

About your other question: unless you have not backuped your /Database/ order in /Test Drive Unlimited/Euro/BNK/ or moved the directory into the trash which you can restore, you can't restore them.

    Good luck with your peojects

  4. Oh thanks man, I appreciate it! :nods: Always giving my best for you. But I seem always to hear (don't mean you in this example) "do this, do that, that's wrong, this should be like that etc" :D In this tread it's okay, as I wanted to update it anyway, so thanks for the report! :) But sometimes I get emails of guys sending me bugs of my mods I released two years ago.. Ever had something like that? :D creepy.

Nevertheless, I am going to fix the rims in 1.1 :nods: and actually this is not the first time I play around with sounds, but the first I release. Well, yeah, second one playing around with basicly :D the first one was back in 2009 or so, and I gave up after hearing it how they actually don't sound good. :hmmm:

    All in all, thanks :cheeky:
