The interior colors in TDU1 are in colors.bnk, which contains colors.2dm, all exterior, interior and caliper colors are in there, hence why I was wondering since there is no 3DG to make it work with zmodeler
-
It sure is, but there is / was no way of editing 2DM files for TDU1 reliably as of what I know. Exporting a blank 3DG from ZModeler did not work, and the world editor is not advanced enough. No idea how you did it for TDU2 but it sure is awesome to know it works.

That's very awkward to imagine but I take this as a compliment

Oh, then I'm calm.
-
Oh no, if that's real they use a fully in-house engine that means Modding is bye bye for at least a couple of years if not at all..
-
This does not invalidate my comment, though
-
That's long known, I in fact concidered to apply half a year ago

Would be cool if someone in the modding community who knows a guy, who, knows a guy, could weasel their way into unreleased data and just post it so people can at least enjoy all those sick cars and bikes. All the rest like the offroad motorbike race modes would be too complicated to put back into the game.
I'm pretty sure that would be illegal for them to do, concidering they completely certainly signed an NDA for the development. However, who knows when the contract runs out.
I'd love to get in touch with the devs too, however I don't belive the devs ever even remotely showed any interest in the community, let alone modders.

As long as we don't end up with TDU2's "we have 100 cars in game, but about 25% of them are special editions of cars in game, and another 7% are the more extreme model of cars we have". Y'all know what cars im talking about.
whats wrong with that, i think it still created a variety overall
what most people mean by that is "where are mah jdm? no superkarzzz they boring lulz". I think TDU2 had a great variety of cars. Don't forget that TDU was mostly about exotics to begin with. (since its a lifestyle simulator unofficially, TDU1 had a majority of exotics too)
-
right i forgot. but i think having 1 car featured is cheaper than 8 or something
-
I'm wondering how big Big Ben's budget is, concidering that allegedly just shy of 100 cars will be featured. Which brands will it include? Certainly not Porsche since they're massively expensive but will we see Ferrari? They ain't cheap either. Since WRC doesn't feature luxury brands it's still a concern
-
but why not testdriveunlimited3?
-
I have never heard anyone saying it will be called test drive solar crown except this one out of context post some comments ago to be honest
-
I am aware of what solar crown in tdu is, i just dont understand the context since it was dropped totally randomly

You mean this transforming Lamborghini? Hell yeah. Lamborghini never even made it into TDU2 hahaha
yes, this exactly. I belive this was more of a concept by Ivory Tower (Ex-Eden) which was brought into The Crew later.
-
^ ok i wasn't aware that this is possible

Is there any possibility in the future for new garages? Not sure if any garages from tdu 2 or warehouses from the forza series could be ported into tdu? or maybe some custom made garage's that can store 1000+ cars? Ok that would be an overkill lol. Always wondered about this but i don't think that it's possible.
there is not
its maybe possible to edit the 3d models of the garages, but not increase the save slots

Test Drive Solar Crown.
what

You won't belive which "bugs" I am aware of when* I release a mod. Sometimes you just have to say screw it
Spoiler*aka once every blue moon
-
I mean as long as nobody complains..
-
Why would you remove it, I think it deserves to be in the game more than the 428th Toyota

What has this to do with anything, almost are games with relevance were reverse engineered. My point is when this will be for TDU3. If they'd use a popular well documented engine like Unreal it would be instantaneous, whilest an in-house engine needs to be done from scratch most of the time
