  1. Hey guys, after being quite busy during the last year with finishing my studies, I was looking forward to playing TDU online again, this being pretty much the only game I play nowadays besides Live for Speed. However, I've had to reinstall my Windows since I last played TDU. I figured no biggie, I'll just reinstall TDU as well. When I tried activating the game though, I got an "activation failed" message, which says the following: "Too many activations on different PCs have been performed with the entered SERIAL. No further activations are allowed." I bought this copy off Gamesplanet a couple of years back, after losing my first copy of the game. They're not selling the game anymore, and I can't find any other online markets which do. After skimming through the last few pages, I understand using a no-CD is still not allowed. So, I guess this is it? Is there any way I can still play online? Thanks, and hope to see you guys on the road.
  2. These are great, thanks for sharing! I installed a fresh version of TDU when the new server came up, and have yet to install any mods. The original cars look really nice IMO. Anyway keep'em coming!
  3. Just wanted to say, massive thanks for making this possible guys. Even at this early stage, it's already miles better than playing TDU2, for me at least. Even the server itself is much more stable! Anyway, keep up the excellent work, and see you in game! P.S. anybody know where, or even if, it's still possible to buy the Megapack? Thank you.
  4. You got yourself a deal. Also, maybe we should move the meeting time a bit forward, to like 12:00 GMT? Seems like a better compromise between timezones (7 AM in Boston, 11 PM in Melbourne) :)
  5. I slept in on saturday and tried to connect at 10:30 GMT, servers were down. They were back up only a few hours later...shame, I'd really enjoy an organized event. Or just a cruise, anything really. Maybe next weekend, if more people agree to come?
  6. Nope, they just keep going offline from time to time from what I can tell... but at least we can see players on the map and still manage to get a cruise going occasionally.
  7. This could be epic. Although I'll probably get lost after the first intersection. Either way, I'll be there! Btw, I dont have H-mode unlocked yet either, will that be a problem? Great idea though, +1 for more TDU1 cruises/events!
  8. Wait, so no free roaming and only Ferraris? It better be damn good in every other aspect to make up for the losses.....
  9. Well, sure enough it's pretty much as bad as everyone says, but since I can't play TDU1 anymore and I cant find any online shops that would sell it to me (I live in Moldova), I've learned to deal with all the shortcomings of TDU2 and just try to enjoy a cruise every now and then. You just have to find some decent people to cruise with. Oh, and definitely use the camera hack and blinker sound app. lol. Just my two cents.
  10. Yep, this is exactly what I did and it worked. :) Thank you Racer_S, brilliant work yet again!
  11. Just wanted to say, really awesome collection of rims you got going here. Thank you for sharing ;)
  12. This pack looks awesome! Could someone please re-upload it to a public hosting website? Thanks in advance, and great work minime891!
  13. Just wanted to say amazing mod, this convinced me to start playing TDU again ;). Well...this, and the movie about the 2009 Gumball race haha. Thanks for this awesome mod and the effort you've put into it!
  14. Great photos dude, I love the one with the heli too! O_o

  18. Hello everyone. This is a mod request for a Mercedes-Benz W123, "the most successful Mercedes, selling over 2.5 million cars before being replaced by the W124 after 1985" (quote from Wikipedia). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W123 The link above provides very useful information about this car, regarding production figures, engines that were available at the time, photos that show differences between US/Euro specs etc. Most powerful engine was the petrol fuel-injected, inline-6, 2.8 liter M110, offering 185 HP and 235 N/m @4500 RPM. I dream about getting one of those...real powerhouses! I personally own a W123 from 1981, with a 2.0 liter carburetted engine, weakest of the petrol-engine pack, but still an absolute blast to drive and look after, especially when you think about the fact that it's 28 years old and still running strong. It came in sedan, estate, coupe and stretched versions. While I would be really happy to see any one of these variations in TDU, I am assuming the most probable would be the sedan, seeing as there are already a few models available for other games that could just be converted, with proper permission, of course. If anyone wants to take the time to model one from scratch, I have the blueprints, which are available on several websites too, if you search a bit ;). Also, I can provide pics of interior and what not. Thanks for taking the time to read through this, hope someone'll give it some thought. Some pics below. As you can see in the last 3 pics, there was also an AMG version, maybe that will attract the modding community a bit more hehe :).
  19. Awesome! Gotta love Evos...Huge thanks Tool831. Too bad it doesnt have the JDM rear bumper, it would really set it apart from its cousin, the VIII :). But anyway, this is great too. Thanks again.
  20. The update sounds pretty good Reaper, I (as many others, I'm sure) am definitely looking forward to it. So are the 4 Evos in my garage :D. Cheers
  21. I love you dude. lol. Can't wait to take this one out for a spin!
  22. One of the most desirable Mercs EVER...*drool* Anyway, great news on restarting this one Grin, interior shots are looking awesome so far!
  23. And the versions keep on coming! Outstanding work, Reaper...thanks again. About the sounds, CarFreak is right, the guys from Oahu Independent Tuners released a sound file for the Evo, link should be on the second page in Frank's thread. I've been using it myself, and the quality is very nice, props to them.
