Is there a good way to connect more than 4 players in free ride? We were having some difficulty getting 6 of us together. I was thinking next time I will create a private lobby and have everyone leave. Any success that way? Finally, can anyone tell me the maximum session size? Hello chaps, Having stayed away from the game for a year now (thanks to its abysmal performance), I finally bought The Crew (performance seems to be improved in Wild Run for me). [headline]The Crew Leagues[/headline] We heard of the 'Leagues' and some of their bullet points in the recent Patch Notes for June but now we have a full rundown on what exactly this new addition will bring when it hits on June 3rd. For starters there are four Leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, and each of these are divided up into four divisions. Everyone will start off at the bottom in Division 4 of the Bronze league and the goal is to do your best to progress through the other divisions right up to the Platinum League where you will be fully entitled to bragging rights and free bacon sandwiches*. :p [subhead]I better get something for doing this![/subhead] Of course the time, effort and no doubt frustration you will experience in making your way up will not go unrewarded, no sire it will not, as from as early as Division 3 in the Bronze league you will unlock some lovely shiny things, including stickers, colours and rims for your moving machines made of metal. [Ed - you mean cars?] To give your brain a help in understanding this, we have generously placed the Bronze and Gold offerings below. Each division also entitles you to wear a rather lovely and fashionable numbered sticker that will show to the world just how pathetic and useless you are unless you have the number one. [Ed - bit unfair that!] Being part of a league means you need to accumulate points to progress up the ranks and in The Crew you do this by racing. Who'd have thunk that? With some genuinely clever foresight the designers have realised that you should be able to do this with as many or as little players as you can get together, and so depending on the amount of players in a race your final position will determine how well or how awful the result will be attributed to your standing. Finish behind in a 1v1 and you obviously are going to be penalised but finish 4th or 5th in a full lobby and you will stay neutral. It's actually on paper a decent scoring system but the proof will be in the actual racing itself and whether other players will actually race, or more likely will be barge fest at the first corner and the need to spin people at virtually every opportunity. :( The full scoring depending on the amount of parsnips racing can be seen in the table we have stolen from the official The Crew Blog entry below. [subhead]Dumb vs. Dumber[/subhead] The game will also try it's best to match idiots like you up with others like you, but unfortunately it cannot guarantee an infinite amount of those and so at times you will find yourself paired with, or on the grid with the better skilled. There is benefit to be gained if this does happen as should you beat them - as unlikely as that may and will be - you will get a nice bonus in positive scoring which makes climbing up the ranks that touch faster. There is also a League Store where all the rewards and trinkets you receive will be available to purchase and should you fall down in the rankings worry not as you will not lose the goodies you have accrued providing you have purchased them. [headline]Make Room for More[/headline] The first known run of extra cars and items for The Crew finished last month with the RAID pack and people have been wondering what was (or if anything) was to come next. After all, a developer and publisher can say all the things they want in the run up to release but I am sure we all know of instances where hardly any of it, or even none of it came to be true. Thankfully this isn't the case here and today we have our answer as The Crew will start to dish out new cars to current and new Season Pass (SP) owners from June 3rd, beginning with the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 with an accompanying Performance specification option. For those not in ownership of the SP fear not as a new purchase method for these cars is coming into effect with the use of the in-game Crew Credits (CC) being the means to acquire them. We've also been given a look at two other cars that are coming: the MINI Countryman (:oook:) which will be available in all but Circuit spec and the... wait what ...are you sure about this ...wow! ...the impressively rare Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Coupe :nuts: where you can have Performance and Circuit specifications. Each person joins a regular cruise with a pre-selected destination that they keep to themselves. One person sets their GPS to their secret destination, and everyone cruises there. Only one person knows where they're going. Once everyone arrives, we might take a small chat break and then the next person enters their secret destination. Since TC enables players to change cars without leaving the session, I'm suggesting that we start off with full stock cars with average performance, and then change/upgrade each time we reach a destination. last month i went on a mission to get the World Boss title in The Crew. As we picked the Snakes faction in the TDUDT monthly poll, that was the target faction. The monthly Poll is now obsolete as it does not pay off to choose a different Faction than the biggest one. So as long as ivory does not make it more interesting or rewarding to switch factions, i stay with the Wolves for now. I wrote a short article about the run for Boss and also the 36.000 daily achievement i did in just one day, playing 12 hours on last Sunday, to become the Wolves Boss (Howles) :nuts: TDU Drive Time View topic - The Crew, The Boss I also published it on Crewzine, the new online magazine for The Crew CrewZine- The Crew, The Boss So if you want to know what it takes to become a Faction Boss and get the 36K daily achievement, there is some useful info in the article. Alright, so I bought this game not too long ago. I liked it a lot. Got myself a Dodge Challenger SRT, 2015 Ford Mustang GT Fastback and more recently, a 2011 BMW F10 M5. However, one thing that's making progression way longer (and making me feel rather irritated) are the technical issues.:jealous: I play this game on the PC, more specifically, a gaming laptop. It's packed with a quad-core Core i7 4700MQ and a GT 750M with 2GB of GDDR5. I have the very latest GeForce drivers cleanly installed. However, the issue doesn't stop. There are actually 2 issues. The first one is relatively minor. It's a CTD (crash-to-desktop) without an error whatsoever. Though sometimes, there's a message that says "NVIDIA Kernel Mode Driver Version 347.09 has stopped working and has successfully recovered". The second error, which is infinitely more infuriating, is the game suddenly freezing and stuttering heavily with a really annoying buzzing sound as if it's about to enter a BSOD, but then recovers, but with the game audio continuing in the background and the screen completely frozen. You can quit it via Task Manager, but that will just make the game migrate to the background processes tab, and it's impossible to kill after that, without a forced reboot. As far as I'm concerned, there are no issues with my hardware. It went through a hardware test recently and all components passed. GPU temperature also never exceeds 69-70 degrees C. Anyone else on PC have this issue? Any fixes? NOTE: I've underclocked my GPU by 45MHz and it seems to be running happily so far, apart from some random black squares appearing from time-to-time, which might be artifacting.

So yeah just out of curiousity I was wondering what cameras you ducks like to use the most! :) If you're unsure I've made it multi-choice so you can tick which ones you tend to use more than others. Personally I prefer switching between close 3rd person and cockpit, rarely in any other perspective.

For some reason, you can't compare faction mission results with friends or the wider community unlike normal missions and skills. So if you do get around to completing some, think about taking a screenie of the results screen and post here to see if we're all taking roughly the same amount of time. Here's one starting from the Key West Florida. The time won't be great as I took a massive offroad "shortcut" through the trails just after leaving the snow.
