Need disc reading help!!!

Theres a werid thing happening with my 360 and the new dashboard i put in cod 4 or something and for about a half hour im just pushing the open tray button because it starts reading and then i says open tray has any1 one else had this problem??

Yep, it's quite common. The disc drive is either dead or dying. It could be anything from the laser to the magnet that holds the Discs in place. ElliottWoodruff (or whatever his screen name is on here these days) fixed his Xbox so I'll get him to come post his thoughts on it. Besides that you can call M$ to arrange a repair or buy a new box.

Yeah. Thanks for the info i posted on someone elses post that had kinda had the same problem and u awnsered so i think ill just get a new box because its geting rediculous!!
