Lens Flair: TDU-C's Best Photos

Something I took today. I wish I could be bothered to go out and take photos of interesting things, not rubbish pics of my neighbours chimney... :p

Well I like it, it takes a fair amount of skill to take a picture of something as boring as a chimney and turn it into a great photo like that.

 

Don't mind me, I'm just rooting through the photos in this thread, there's some really nice shots here.

 

I've just got some working batteries for my albeit crappy camera so I might post something in the unlikely event that I get a good photo out of it.

I like the freeway light pictures :) But yes it's better with a longer exposure ;)

 

I made some highway light pictures, without tripod, it was hard and the result isn't the best, but still pretty cool :cool:

Agreed, those are really good.

 

I've always liked the light-stripe-thingy but never had a chance to try it myself. I live ages away from a decent motorway, and I doubt my camera has shutter-speed/exposure time settings.

You did those without a tripod? How? That's remarkable for a handheld shot! Unless of course it wasn't handheld and you cheated by placing it on a railing or something... ;)

Technically there isn't "cheating" in photography, unless you claim somebody's photo as yours. Using a rail to steady the shot- cheating? No way.

Yes I place it on the bridge rail ;)

 

Now I have a tripod but no time to go make some new pictures ^^

Good ones probably include Koeni, me, Car Freak, Speedracer, Mielie (Did i catch the spelling) and a few others whom aren't on the top of my head atm

 

Brilliant ones probably include Martijn, TheScottishDavid and maybe Luuk who i believe doesn't come here much now.
