Cruise: Cold Cruise

We will start out by going to the crater just East of Honolulu. From there we will head to the Southeast coast and enjoy the Portlock beach. After that we will head a bit northeast to the lighthouse - and we may even head to the gorgeous Eden Island. After a little break we will continue Northwest to Shark's Cove and enjoy the curvy roads. Finally we will end at the tip of the NW mountain - you know the one slightly SE of the NW lighthouse.

Cruise: Trackstars Cruise

We'll meet in the Volkswagen Dealer parking lot. From there we will hit all the U.S. vehicle dealerships (minus classic muscle), a few photo op locations I've picked out, Ford Island, the racetrack (maybe, depending on if we can all stay connected to each other there), the U.S. Muscle Tuner, and ending at the Cool Cruisers Clubhouse, taking coastal roads whenever possible. Expect to be cruising for 2-3 hours.

Cruise: American Superpowers Cruise

You pick out your car, meet your buddies at the Radar/Satellite Hill on Mokapu Peninsula and cruise over to the H3 to the larger part of the island. You zip past small neat white houses and old converted army barracks, past the pineapple and sugar plantations.

A stop is made on the right side to gather up and take some quick pics where the south part of the H3 ends, marked by the end of the concrete barriers.

Then it’s on to the H1 to take us to the west coast. Weaving in and out of traffic at a breakneck pace, passing the locals toodling along in their non-descript sedans and the surfer dudes in their Jeep Woodies with the surfboards on top.

Out along the open road, in and out of industrial areas and open spaces you race back and forth – not a cop in sight. Finally, you hit the west coast and a well deserved break at the roadside restaurant and then it’s an all out cruise up the West Farrington to the dreaded Kelekole Pass access road; one seriously twisted piece of road that must have been designed by the Marquis de Sade himself – you can’t wait to hit it!

Somewhere along the road after the pass, past the Lisa’s diner (take the next right), is a famous Aloha Beach Pizza shop. It’s said this shop makes the best pizza on the island, but it’s kinda hard to find as it is in a non-descript building with a small parking lot. But find it we shall!

Then it’s down the H2 to the H1 east and a quick jaunt over to the Pali Highway and a stop at the famous Kamehameha’s Pali Lookout. Then it’s back on the road: a right at the 6-way (where the Kamehameha hits the Kalania’naole), follow the Kalania’naole (it makes a hard right) past the Olomana golf course and turn left to Bellows Field. Around a few bends and you’re on the coast!

Then you spot it – your destination – The beach at Bellow’s Field!

Time for some fun in the sun before you have to pack it all in and head back! And don’t forget to take lots of photographs . . . . Maybe stop at a roadside diner for a bite to eat on the way back (the Waimanalo Lisa’s is a good spot. I hear the onion rings are good).

Cruise: The Freedom Run

We'll start at the Kahe Point Diner, where we'll immediently join the Farrington Hwy. We'll get our cars cleaned at the car wash, then take a trip to Kelekole Pass, where we'll see the drifters do their...well drifting. After the pass, we'll join the Kamehameha and go north all the way until Sharks Cove, where we'll go through all 3 sections of the twisty turns. That'll lead us to the Kamehameha again, and we'll go south this time until we hit the H2. After the H2 has ended, then its time for the H1, passing the golf course, all the way unti the H3, where we'll burn through the tunnel, listening to the sound of our engines. Then we'll hit the Kalanianaole Hwy and drive all the way until the end, which will be the South-East lighthouse.

The route is 104 mi.

We'll cruise north up the Farrington past the NW lighthouse and east past Dillingham Field.

Then we take the Kaukonahua to the H2 south to pick up the H3 and go north (northeast, actually).

From there we'll take the east portion of the Kamehameha (where it becomes the Kalania'naole) around the east side past the East lighthouse, around the southern part of Diamond Head Crater, and end up at the Waikiki Beach Park gazebo for finishing photos.

We will start at the US Muscle tuning shop. We will then take a fun route to Chevy. From Chevy we will head to Ford to bag on them (burnouts, donuts, and stuff of that nature). From there we will head to the classic car dealer. Then we will go to Pontiac and have fun on the straights. After Pontiac we take a long drive to Cadillac. From there we will head to our old club, OMC, for a break. After the break, we will head to the eastern lighthouse, and then to port-lock beach. After port-lock we will head to out new club. Once we arrive at the club, we can just drive around or change up cars.

We'll meet up at the south Wai'anae Kai diner (on the Lualualei Naval road) and head through Kelekole Pass. From there we take the Kunia Road south (for our HC mode friends (!)) to the Farrington and cut over to the scenic Kamehameha!

North on the Kamehameha to the H2, and then south to the H1 and east all the way around the east coast along the Kalania'naole till we hook up again with the other end of the Kamehameha (North Shore Drive) and go coastal to the U.S. Muscle Car Shop in the northwest corner (that only sells one car!).

Cruise: Ford Island to Eden Island

We'll start near the Waimanalo Real Estate office and cruise many of the backroads that will take us counter-clockwise around the island. Nice country roads just begging to be drifted.

There are plenty of chances for pitstops along the way, but we'll ignore most of the dead-end roads (Makapu Peninsula should prove to be a blast! wink.gif).

Eventually, we'll make our way to the racetrack and I was thinking that it might be cool to switch to the Shelby Daytona for a few laps and pics, especially B&W ones. Then we'll make our way into the city and maybe a game of City Tag.

Cruise: The Right Audi In The Right Way Run

we'll meet up at the Saleen dealer over on the east side. We'll cruise down the Pali Highway to the H1 and take that over to the Kamehameha (via the H201).

We'll take the Kamehameha Highway north to the NW lighthouse (this should be a really fun road in those Caterhams!) via the Kaukonahua and Farrington roads.

We'll pause for a breather and then it's down the West Farrington along the coast (smell that sweet sea-breeze?) to the roadside restaurant south of the market for photos, a bite to eat, bathroom break, you know - the usual! From there we can continue into the city
