after a while, the sound start's lagging, and a little while after, my sound crashes :(

and then i have to restart my comp all over again

im having an "Realtek AC'97 Audio" card

it could be that this is crap, but i want to get this fixed, because im sick of it

greetings,

an helpless, audio-less dude

What you mean crashes? Can you give me more details about your problem, but thing you can try is, update your sound drivers, make sure you jacks are connected properly. Dust can have an affect also, if you have a CO2 can of compressed air by any chance give your laptop a blast, makes a difference.

Are you using onboard sound with the laptop I take it?

Or you got separate speakers?

im talking about my old comp here elektro :D

and with crash i mean, from one second to another no more sound, for the whole session, and when i restart it, everything works fine again (:

and i use seperate speakers indeed, but they work fine, im sure they do, checked the jack's and stuff (:

could you in any example find some drivers ?

cuz i cant seem to manage to find the right one's >.<

How long is it before the sound starts lagging?

Drivers are your best bet, though. If you can't find them, I'd suggest grabbing a very cheap PCI audio card.

i think its an in-build soundcard on the motherboard

random guess, gotta look it up, not sure

i have my laptop back working now, but still wanna get this fixed

and it depends, no audio usage, doesnt crash

audio usage like youtube and stuff, about an half an hour to an hour if i constantly watch vid's

so pretty early yes (:
