Monaco...anybody?

Wow what has happening here??

 

Monaco was a real doozy of a race, as always on this circuit there was zero overtaking except at the start. However there were plenty of crashes which always brings 'joy' to the fans as long as it not your driver.

 

Brawn took the 1-2 again, with Button driving a stellar race.

They started on the soft tyres while everyone else was on Ptimes (the harder of the two) so that gave them a good if a little short lived advantage. Button use dit well though and by the time he cam ein to pit his lead was comfortable.

Hamilton screwed up in qualifying so started from the back and pretty much stayed there, oh dear.

Buemi was the real novice of the day though will trying to overtake Piquet on the S/F stright he slip streamed and forgot to actually overtake. Straight up Piquet's backside pushing them both into the barriers! :rolleyes:

 

Looks like Brawn's fisrt season is eclipsing everybody's expectations!

I actually loved this race. Strategy does it all.

I was rooting for Button/Brawn since the first race. Good to see a new team dominating, really showing everyone up to be honest.
