How to change rim size ?

MarcDo

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know how to swap rims between cars? I don´t mean swapping designs. I want to change the size, e.g. from XKR Coupe to TVR because of the rim diameter and the 'thickness' of the rubber. I think u all know what i mean. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

i was having the same question like MarcDo

at the audi s5 from tool831 the rims are alot bigger then on the classic audi a6 so i was wondering how did he made that because in tdu 18" look to me like 15"-16" or those 19" on audi s6 look like 17"...

i saw somewhere on internet a picture from audi rs4 with bbs ch rims alot bigger then stock rims is there maybe any easier way to make those rims bigger?

and is it maybe possible to lower a stock car?

I guess I got lucky when I did it but I put Evo MR rims the BBS ones, on my 07 STi and they look good and fit fine, as a matter of fact I never tried the car with any other rims but it looks like its sitting on low suspension, like on coilovers or something
