SAPPHIRE RADEON HD3850 512MB AGP & Power Supply

Hey there! Well Im about to buy this card but I need your help! =)

My PC has this PSU : Premier DR-8400BTX (MAX 400W)

It says minimun 450W but Ive read about people who have 400W or less PSU and their pc runs smoothly...

It depends what other components you have in your pc. Like how many optical drives, hard drives, what motherboard, what CPU and even how many fans/LEDs you have in your computer.

 

But I wouldn't recommend the using a 400W PSU for a graphics card that states the minimum as 450W.

Thx Mellors...well my pc has 2 optical drives, 2 hard disks (one of them is EHD), my motherboard is an ABIT AS7-V, 2xPentium 4 @ 2.66GHz,Nvidia geforce 6600gt agp, one big fan and this is pretty much it....

I know it is an OLD system but i think this upgrade will give it a little more.....life :P

I'd suggest a 500W ;)

While you're at it, a bit of extra RAM won't cost much and will be nice ;)
