Static replay cam (driveby cam)

Hi there,

 

i´m not sure where to post, thats why i post here. I´m looking for an drive-by replay camera.

 

An example:

 

That cam fixes your car form the front, then you drive by an it still fixes the car (now the rear), till your car is out of sight.

 

That fixed cams ingame swap the view to fast, i´d like to have it longer chasing the car, so you could longer hear the symphony of the exhaust an shifting.

 

Is something possible to do?

Hmm... It seems like it would be hypothetically possible to implement some of the replay-mode cameras as substitutes for one of the cameras in driving mode (chase cam for instance), but I wouldn't know how to do that. Maybe Djey'll have some better info.
