Vehicle Won't Start?

First, I apologize if this is the wrong place to put this, but it's concerning car modding and I need support and help :D

 

Nonetheless, my issue stems from trying to install the megapack. I installed the 1.66a patch, the megapack, and then cracked the game, and I can proceed w/ opening it up nice and dandy as normal (a new account). I can play the game and do whatever I want, but once I quit the game and come back, I'm left where I was previously and my car won't start? EVERYTHING else works except car acceleration. I even tried changing the keys and that came to no avail. And yes, I've made sure to run everything as admin and tried everything in compatibility modes multiple times.. nothing. Before I tried upgrading to 1.66a or the megapack, I could play the game JUST fine.. afterwards, nope.

 

Does anyone have any advice? I've tried searching but that didn't do much good either. I really appreciate any advice!

hmm im not quite sure. im sure someone else will know though.. Is the game the actual bought copy?

You have to hold the button down for about 10 seconds.

You know buying the game you will get help, as far as im concerned you don't deserve help for downloading it. :rolleyes:

 

If you mean 'cracked' by as no cd etc then expect no help and this thread either locked by a mod or admin as normally they do i believe.

A lot of hasty assumptions being thrown around..

 

I DO have the game, and it's installed perfectly on my PC. However, I want it installed on my laptop, and for convenience, I'd rather use a no-cd hack on it. My laptop does not have a dvd-drive, and I prefer to not hassle w/ loading DVDs every time I want to play the game.

We cannot help you if you use a no-CD crack or any other way to circumvent the copy protection system.
