1.67d Crashes after atari and edon screens

Help!

 

I have installed Test Drive Unlimited Megapack and 1.66a patch and then manually installed the 1.67d patch via directions found here in the forums. However, when I load the game it shows the atari splash screen then the edon screen and then crashes to my desktop. Can someone please help me so I can play with the patch!

Delete radial.CDB, which can be found under "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Test Drive Unlimited\", or somewhere similar (just telling you the path off the top of my head, I don't have it perfectly memorized...).

 

If that doesn't work, try patching it again, but manually this time (e.g. drag-and-drop files to correct locations instead of running patcher).

 

If that doesn't work either, reinstall the game, then the MegaPack, then backup *TDU install directory*\Euro\BNK\Database (make a copy of that folder and store it somewhere safe), then install patch 1.67D again.

- You'd better install it automatically (launching exe file), anyway there will be the only way to install 1.68 patch.

 

- Use Magic Map if you keep it installed manually.

Problem solved. I needed .net 2.0. installed it. used .exe from patch folder and works great. thanks all
