2010 Kenne Bell GT500 sound Mod V2 UPDATED LINK

Hey guys,

So I had been gone for a while, but recently I started playing TDU again, and I'm back for a bit.

Anyways, while I've been gone, I drove an actual 10' GT500 with the Kenne Bell supercharger on it, and I have to say it was incredible. The power of the car along with the scream of the supercharger is just out of this world. I learned that the supercharger only delivers boost around 4k RPM and therefore makes no whine or sound until then. Because of that the old version of the sound mod was inaccurate. Also I got some more new samples of the supercharger whine which are higher quality, smoother sounding, and a lot less annoying then the old supercharger whine.

On the new version of the sound mod for the '10 GT500

- Fixed sound clipping bug at cruising RPM's

- Fixed Supercharger sound louder then the engine bug

- Fixed High RPM sound clipping bug

- New cammed idle tone (thanks to lethal performance :thumbsup: )

- New realistic and smoother supercharger whine sample

People have been saying that the link wasn't the V2 sound, so I updated the file up on filefront, So now it should be the right one :thumbsup:

Yea ill try to fix that cuz it gets quite annoying after a bit of driving

It was fine on Audacity but as soon as I put it in the game it started doing that

For some odd reason,

Audacity keeps muting the end of the sound clip of the low_on rpm.

When it does that, it makes it sound like its cutting out in low rpms.

This is starting to really piss me off and idk how to fix it.. :mad:

Anyone want to help me out here?

Really nice sound mod and all, but for some darn reason i cant get it to work. Replaced the file in euro/bnk/sound/vehicules but when i start and rev the car it's just quiet. Perhaps you could reupload it on megaupload.

hmm, that's weird...

Seems odd how it would just randomly get corrupted on Filefront,

since everyone else downloaded it and, said it worked great.

If anything try re-downloading and re-installing it,

and make sure that the file is 438KB in size.

Get a Supercharged (stage 2) Saleen in the game,

and see what it sounds like ;)

or try the stage 3 extreme coupe ;)

which is "S281E_Cpe" in the program files (hence the E)

however this car is "stage 2" if you have the 1.67 community patch *cough*
