Been posting a bit in the Mod Shop already, just thought Id jump on here and say hi. Im from Australia, land of much sunshine, and high taxes on imported cars! :cheeky: Drive a 92 Volvo 240 Wagon in real life, not the most pacey car around, but the actual feel of the car is suprisingly good.

Anyway, look forward to seeing you guys around the place:)

I'm from WA as well (Margaret River) I agree with the tax rate we have. It's just stupid. Compare something like a Ferrari California in the UK which is about 140,000 pounds and its well over 500,000 AUD here (nearly 3 times more expensive even after you consider 140,000 pounds is about 240,000 AUD!)

I know. Its the same with all the imports.:( I reckon thats why there are basically no Paganis/Koenigseggs/etc here, after the hike in price they become way too expensive. Zonda F's cost $1.5 mill, or you could get a C12 for only $1.3 mill. And then there's the luxury car tax as well...:rolleyes:
