Way to Quit a Race Before It's Over ?

I was wondering if there is a way to quit a single-player race (or other mission) early (or at least re-start it)? I've tried different key presses on the PC, but to no avail. I end up having to wait for the time to expire or, for events with a driving quality score, purposely drive off-road to deplete the driving score. :(

 

It would be useful to quit a challenge early for those times when you really mess up at the beginning and don't want to wait to try it again. I haven't tried any of the "super challenges" yet (the ones that go 80 miles or more), but it would take some time to wait for the race to be over if I've lost any hope of finishing. :cry:

The "P" button (Pause) should works, and there you will see, Exit, restart, etc, if im not wrong.

(Plus, if you Pause during a car delivery mission, the model of car you are driving will be displayed!)
