TDUPE/Sound editing

Hey all, nothing major but I recently got TDUPE running and discovered you can change the rev limiter so i did for the aston martin V8 eg. 7000 to 8000.

It worked well but the sound from 7000 to 8000 was like the old muscle cars, where u rev to their limit and its just a constant pitch.

 

Is it possible to edit the CARVSTconfig.xml in the AMV8 sound bnk file, because I think this config raises and lowers the pitch according to what rpm the car is at because all the sound samples in the bnk are almost constant in pitch.

 

EDIT: I tried changing limits on TDUPE on audi TT which has a honda body/sound mod on it as well as a saturn sky with rx7 body/sound and it works fine. But it didn't work with unedited sound files like lotus exige and jaguar type E, not sure why.
