Is a new Goldeneye in the making? Sadly only for WII :'( :'(

The game is reportedly being developed by Eurocom and n-Space for release in November 2010.The trailer shows Daniel Craig in action in a range of re-imagined scenes from the 1997 bestseller. Classic moments from the Nintendo 64 shooter, including the opening dam bungee jump and the St Petersburg tank chase have been faithfully recreated.

Activision will also deliver on the multiplayer mode that cemented the original GoldenEye’s legacy – players will be able to choose between split-screen and online multiplayer options. The trailer promises the game will feature at least eight playable classic characters, including Jaws, Oddjob and Scaramanga, along with 16 special game modes, including Paintball, Melee only and You only live twice.

Earlier reports that a DS version of the game would also be available have not been confirmed.

Still no word on Activision’s other Bond-related game – Bloodstone – rumoured to be in development alongside GoldenEye.

Meh, I rarely play Wii anymore but might as well buy that just for fun. Or maybe not.

And BTW I think that you should change the title to just "New Goldeneye announced". The current

one looks messy.

COMON! THE WII!! this game will be a fail because of that. Without it bein on xbox or playstation its just gona be another game to move around too.. and not even in HD =/ not amused.

The original was the best game ever in my opinion, It's a shame the new one is for the wii, I feel for the x360 or PS3 it could of been just as good. Oh well, nevermind then.

I couldn't care less if the trees were rectangles. At least it would give the devs more to to focus on WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS.
