Help! Can't find a car bought from a trade

Hi,

 

I just bought a car from a friend for 1000, but when i went to my garage it wasn't there. If i go to my past transactions in the trade menu it is there. It is a standard McLaren F1, so its not in the megapack. How can i get my car?

You can't. You need to buy another one. It's a glitch in the trading system that takes your money but doesn't give you the car. The person you but the car off of also loses the car.

So the trading system doesn't actually give you cars you buy? 0.o

 

Or does this only happen sometimes?

It doesn't happen very often.
