Hey guys :)

 

I am making a forum but I can't seem to change the MODERATOR permissions to lock the topic, move it etc etc, how do I do that?

You don't have the moderator permissions because you're not a moderator. If you want something moved, deleted, renamed etc just PM one of us blue people and we'll do it as long as they are your threads.

 

Why did two other blue people look at this and just ignore it?

To answer your question Sly you need to edit the Usergroup you wish to give certain permissions and rights too. If you want to only have certain forums or sub-forums have these rights then you need to goto the Forum Permissions option and manually edit the privileges for the Usergroups you wish to give those permissions too. And finally if you want to have Mods who can edit users and such then you need to give them Admin Permissions and then edit what Admin Permissions they then have.

 

This is if you're using vBulletin of course. I haven't used other software for a good while now.

Is it under Usergroup Options>Administrator Permission?

 

If so, it only shows me.

EDIT: The group Moderator means they are MODS of a certain forum thread hey? and a Super Moderator is a Moderator across the whole board?
