listen guys i've just downloaded a version 1.66A patch from gamers hell.

now,for some reason my TDU isn't working any more!

i've tried to uninstall the game,but it doesn't show up on the programs and application list :cry:

Manually delete it and re-install? And please, use less !'s next time, looks annoying.

i'll try that although i dont think it'll work.usually the program stays on and i cant uninstall it any way.but i'll try it. :cry:

Where did you get your TDU from? The main game, not the patch.

i got it as a present from my aunt.she didn't know there was a newer version,so she got version 1.45.oh and btw superhyper tdu,it didnt work now when i put the disk in it says "error launching game" now i have no TDU at all! :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Lol sounds like you just went into the program files folder and pressed delete on the TDU folder. That's not how you uninstall things. You should do it through the control panel.

 

The registry values for TDU are still there so your computer still thinks it is still installed.

Everybody gets Version 1.45. Even if you were to go out and buy the game at your local game store. It's a feature Atari use for a mandatory update.

p.s-----does anyone know how i can update my TDU to ver. 1.66A without it crashing?

install the patch when the game is NOT running. you cannot have the game running when updating, it wont work.

i installed the patch when the game wasn't running anyway,but it still crashed. :rolleyes:
