Brands Fix?

Hey guys. I've been modding TDU alot lately, and i feel i need some help with this one.

 

I have finally figured out how to change brands names and car names, but there is a problem. If i try to change a cars brand to any one that wasn't included in the original game (1.66+megapack) it gives me an error saying data not found. I figured out later that 1.68b gives you the database files for the new brand, but i guess ill put it simply like this...

 

Is there anyway to get the custom brands while still using 1.66, and still keep your mods??

You can still play online using the 1.68b patch so there's really no reason to stay behind.

 

If you've got a ton of mods installed, you can either create a physics backup for each mod using TDUPE 2.77 or you can reset all the physics and cameras from scratch on your own.

Thats cool. Is it only the physics that you lose? If so, then i think id be alright with 1.68, aslong as there is no huge writing saying 1.68 !!!11!! anywhere, and aslong as it doesnt cause more bugs than in the game originally.

Ok, i went for it and installed 1.68B. One problem: even though i am administrator, Mod and Play cant fix the TDU registry because it cant get permission and therefore wont install the extra brands. Any help?
