If I'm not mistaken, the pre-order cars have a custom paint scheme, and if any "hardware" modification, it's told (as for the Jaguar XKR from Direct 2 Drive with paint pack AND speed pack).

 

I hope we have good news for europeans (and thus french !!) pre-orders this friday ! Most of the US sites doesn't take orders from outside USA... So far, I have the feeling the only "real" pre-order add-on is the online Casino (more gameplay, 2 cars able to be won...)

No, Europe has more pre-order stuff than just the Casino with R8 and C8 bonuscars. Think of Steam's TriColore Zonda, and I think Direct2Drive's XKR is also in.

 

EDIT: about the 612, it's a special edition as the press-release says. This is what Wiki comes up with:

 

612 Sessanta (2007)

 

It is a limited (60 unit) version commemorating 60th anniversary of the company. It included 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, black chrome exhaust tips and Ferrari's F1 gearbox, 3-position electrochromic glass roof, steering wheel with start/stop button and Bose entertainment unit.[4]

 

Colour choices include:

Grigio scuro (Colori Classici '50-'60) / Nero with grigio scuro side line (Dark grey/Black with dark grey side line)

Rubino Micalizzato / Nero Daytona with Rubino Micalizzato side line (Metallic ruby/Daytona black with metallic ruby side line)

Do you mean that the 612 or the tricolore Zonda will have something in game like a specific performance bonus pack ? I don't think Atari-Eden will do special designs just for shops, do they ?

What I meant with the Casino thingy (with 2 more cars that you won't get any other way ingame), this is an add-on. A paint scheme or the ability not to pay for a tuning intervention is a bonus.

I've seen many cars paint offered for pre-order, but in Europe if you want to pre-order as to get the Casino, you have to wait for friday's announce I guess :)

Ye, pre-order cars have special performance upgradepacks or unique trim like bumpers, carbonfibre pieces and vinyls.
