Manual shifting up/down laggy

Hi guys.

 

I have a G25 racing wheel with the H shifter. When i play TDU the manual cars all work fine, but when i drive a car with flappy paddle gears, it doesnt work properly.

 

Problem;

 

When I press gear-up on my G25, or my keyboard, OR my rumblepad (assigned the gear up keys to different input devices) it sometimes takes 3 hits of the button to change gear. The button just DOESNT respond. Same for all three input devices.

 

What I've tried;

 

* Update G25 drivers

* Switched USB ports for the G25

* Tried keyboard and rumblepad, exact same problems

* Re-installed TDU and deleting my savegame folder in my docs

* Re-installed in a different folder

* Tried all combinations of settings in the controls menu within TDU

* Tried my G25 in Dirt2 and NFS Shift; no problems AT ALL.

 

Now i cant think of more options on what to change or test. The only thing i can think of is that one of the mods from this site changed something on my system. I deleted my TDU folder after the uninstall of TDU, hoping all modded installed stuff would be located there.

This has always been a problem with me on some cars - never bothered pursuing the cause or solution for it. You could use the modding tools to change the gearbox from flappy paddle to H shifter is you want.
