Connection.

Is anyone else having the most frustrating time connecting and/or linking with friends? Over the course of an hour last night I connected to one out of 5 of my friends. The game seems to have no problem placing me in some random lobby, but when we try to connect to each other it always fails.

 

Any recommendations would be helpful

Yeah it doesn't work. You can play with just about anyone you like, so long as you're not friends with them.

Oh you've got to be kididng me. Its the whole point of this game. Any info on this or just first hand experience?

Just experience, been playing since Friday with Penfold and I think we ended up in the same server on 3 occasions. Even then it was more by luck, spawning in the same place and hoping to be put together.

So once you two do get accidentally get put in the same lobby can you link with each other then and stay together or is that broken too?

supposedly there is an update coming out within the hour. might address the issue

The map is still broken but I have been successful in joining friends freeride sessions via the XBox guide.
