1) Actual rock songs on the rock radio station - the music on that station is far far from rock. failing that at least let us play music thats on our Hard Drives.

 

2) Driver's seat is not adjustable for height and reach (as it was in TDU1) that feature was awesome on TDU1 and yet it was removed or at least not put in PS3

 

3) Not being able to turn off the audio of other peoples mics, I dont care who you saw the other day, who just flew past you in a Ferrari and who took you out in a SUV

 

4) The windscreen wipers dont work when it rains and rain drops dont accumilate on the windscreen and side windows, Seriously what the hell is up with that?

 

in summary this game feels unfinnished even by the standards of the Euro truck simulator, german truck simulator and uk truck simulator games where users have made mods and finnished making the game making it playable.

 

if no-one here has any direct contact with eden or atari then i'll c+p this onto the TDU official forums

Don't even bother complaining. I used to complain and now I just have the game rotting up in my shelves. The game is completely unfinished and even unplayable. Most things suck, and the only forum where anyone at EDEN even bothers to go to is the official forum, and there you can't post any complains. They are affraid that maybe complains will start a mutiny and everyone will see how bad this game is.

 

Look, I am very sincere. I have tried everything, I have even attempted to brainwash myself in order to enjoy this game, but we have to face it, this game is just awfull. I compliment EDEN for trying and for being ambitious but this game doesn't get to today's standards in any way, be it physics, engine sounds, graphics, anything. This seems like an incomplete BETA with a storyline for 5 year old kids, its much worse then the first one. I feel the need to puke every single time I change a gear in a car, after 20 years of making car racing games, a team was able to deliver the worst gear changing in racing game's history, worst than that is the fact that 5 years after delivering one of the best games in sense of speed, they go back to Super Nintendo in that matter. Its a pity, 45€ to the garbage can.

Man, I am eager to buy all the DLCs that come around, even though I probably won't even play the game anymore.

 

My boiling point was the A4 Championship. I am "driving" my Catheram which is close to impossible to drive cause the physics look more like RC Cars than real automobiles and I am noticing over and over that my opponents enjoy different physics. I can't even make a proper turn without sliding off but Miami Harris in the exact same car can pull off perfect jumps at 240km\h and turn at 150km\h without the slightest loss of grip. Plus many other things...

 

I will buy every DLC, I have bought the Casino and all US pre-orders, unfortunately I can't buy the European cause they just vanished. I will give money every time they need it cause I wanna see a TDU3, but as bad as I feel for saying it there is nothing else I can feel but negativity about this game. This game is all about cockpit view and I always drive in the 3rd Person (outside car view) cause I can't stand the awfull sound inside car and the a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e lack of sense of speed, I just can't stop complaining about this, cause its not bad, its... there isn't even a word in the English language to express how bad that cockpit view is, aboslutely no sense of nothing, no shake, no action, no trembling, no nothing, everything dead and stiff and muted... a real "MERDA"!!!

1. It's about setting, proper rock music is not really an Ibiza thing. I can play my own music off the 360 in place of the games radio.. can on any game.

 

2. Agreed, it's annoying and even stops me seeing the gauges in some cars.

 

3.The muting of mics is a platform specific issue. Does the PS3 not have a global mute system? 360 does, a feature perhaps you should ask Sony for. I could not live without it.

 

4. Yep the windscreen wipers should work, definitely.

 

 

As for unfinished, can't argue as in certain areas that's exactly how it seems.

Y so negative ?? when tdu 1 came out there was a lot of bugs aswell n now ?? 1 of the best games ever... U Should wait few weeks and after that talk coz i bet u right now that in a month u will all say that TDU2 is the best game ever... In my opinion the game is unfinished but there is nothing 2 complain... They are working on it 4 24h a day ;) Im Happy with that :)

no game seems to come out "finished".... Gran Turismo 5 has ben out nearly 3 months and has had 5 "Patches" and another 1 is on the way soon....

Would you like a cup of smug to go with your smug grin there? Seriously, in the manual it even says that there is an option to turn voice chat on/off, this just doesn't exist in the game. For once it's not Sony's fault.

Would you like some more smug? :) Great, I'm glad for you; we can't. This is the PS3 section of the forum, not the 'lets all shout at how much better my xbox is.' I can play Blu-Rays. I don't pay for my online service... Blah blah blah.

'Proper Rock Music' [What the hell is that?] isn't an Ibiza thing. Well No, it kinda is these days; ever heard of Ibiza Rocks? It's quite a large rock festival in Ibiza, I will say there's a lot of Indie kids that dig it and you might not call that 'Proper Rock Music' [i think I'll retreat to my Megadeth and Iron Maiden collection now...] but the rock station on TDU2 doesn't even come close on that scene either.

 

Perhaps you were expectng some trance music? Dance? Acid House? Yeah I could dig that as well, but it's not the only way Ibiza rolls.

The 360 is flawed in oh so many ways, we don't have a 458 either, be smug.

 

I am trying to address a difference between platform faults, personal dislikes and actual game faults, don't get offended. If it says it in the manual then it should do it, now that has been established it is a legit complaint. I am however still surprised, rather than smug that the PS3 has no global implementation for this.

 

I'm well aware of Ibiza rocks, it's plastered all over Xbox for the entire summer for one. That wasn't quite the rock I was referring to, I was pointing to something more hardcore. The stereotypical fare of gamers

Not really, I expected the more commercial tracks we got. The TDU2 radio has been turned off for over a week, the "funny" adverts and lack of diversity saw to that. There are some decent tracks on there, finding them is just a chore.

 

My PS3 played Blu Rays too, also charged my iPod very nicely. I didn't use it, so now my brother does.

I'm actually not particularly smug about anybody not having the 458. It was in the feature list, so it should be in the game regardless of format. There are a few similar issues that I've spied on Playstation to the 458 one and it's just not cricket.

 

The manual, unfortunately for this game is a joke; it's clearly been written by a five-year-old as it's basically a pack of lies and at times unintelligible. I think I, or most of the users on this forum could've actually come up with something far more suitable. :(

 

I have to admit I thought Eden would jump on the whole dance music thing, and I am a bit surprised not to see any in the game, but there we go.

 

Unfortunately voice chat on the PS3 is shocking. There is no way that we can use Sony's system whilst playing a game; it's possibly the most bodgetastic and ham-fisted approach to the idea that you could imagine. [Maybe some of the developers left Sony and went to work for Eden.... hehe...]

It's fine, people often get the wrong idea from my phraseology which is probably my fault lol.

 

We all had pretty high expectations for TDU2 and once the car list and more information leaked out our expectations were kicked.. but we over time got over it and got back to looking forward to the game, so it is very frustrating when you've come to terms with what's missing to find that what is included doesn't work right either.

 

I'm still enjoying the game though.. even if finding and joining my friends is a game of trial and error.

would love to see custom radio's & muting players for sure.

 

I'd also like to see:

 

Blocking players (bye bye that Audi TT rammer this morning)

 

Controller configuration - something i've just noticed is that gear down is the same as dismiss a phone call. Annoying as I want to answer the police phone calls but they always call when i'm braking for a tight bend!

 

Changes to making money after you've finished the game - either single challenges with better payouts like TDU1, or re-winnable prizes from existing champs (or a %age of)
