Problem: "New Version Needed"

Well, I've never played TDU online, but I'm proud of my single player play :)

But I've crated a GameSpay ID, so I can play online and I get a message and it says that there's a new version of TDU aviable... I'm playing with 1.66A. Is there any problem?

 

I'm using Windows Vista, but I don't think that's the problem.

Buy the real copy.

 

This problem is because you have an illegal copy or are using a NO-CD crack.

As you have an offline profile, and no online profile I'm assuming you have downloaded it.

Well my friend has a valid CD-key... But his schoolmate gave the key to him without the CD... So I guess that's the problem!

I have the same issue as the OP and I HAVE a real copy. Purchased the Digital Download version from Amazon.com. Everytime I try to connect online I get a message that there is a new version available that is required to play online. My version is 1.66A. If I let the game take me to the download page, it simply takes me to None.com

Stop using a no-cd .exe then. That is what is causing you to be taken to http://none

 

This does not happen with proper versions of the game.
