cannot adjust clutch linearity HELP

hey guys. as soon as i got the game i went into the settings and put it to manual and harcore. then went to controls, wheel configuration. then played with the steering dampening and dead zone.

clutch linearity is grey and i cannot adjust it.

 

my friend also has the game said he could adjust it, but he uses automatic. so he swicthed to manual and check to see if he could change his clutch linearity and he still could. THEN he switch back to his automatic. checked again and its greyed out and he cant change it!! WTF

 

at first i thought that the setting was for someone with a steering wheel only. but now after my friend experianced this i now know i should be able to adjust it.

 

was hoping i could adjust it to make the shifts quicker. but.. obviously somethings not right.

i tried to swich to auto trans, and even played with auto trans and full assist on for a minute to see if it would work. but it didnt.

 

anyone else experiance this? more importantly... anyone know how to fix it???

It should only be available for wheel users and it won't speed up shifting times with a pad anyway.

You can only have Sequential Gears with controller, therefore you don't have a clutch.

Controllers support only sequential gears as he said.

no, its just wide :p

it was like a 5mp size picture, cut out parts I diddn't want, and voila a very wide picture.

it still is 1500 pixels wide, but since its so short it doesn't matter

In fact, it does. Those with low resolutions will have trouble reading the threads in which you post.
