In game sound issues

I was playing tdu at a mates house

and my pc wasn't plugged into speakers.

i had earphones and were plugged into the green sound jack

at the back of the pc.

For some reason I had no in game

sound but sound for the opening film and credits

before the start menu.

 

Also which colour icon tells me when something is muted or not,

in tdu volume settings

What settings was the game set to? Maybe if the game was set to, say, 5.1 surround the channels with all the in game sound vanished because they went to speakers that weren't connected and only the opening films were left. Otherwise I'm not sure.

Tdu doesn't have 5.1 surround sound I dont think
