I also have to wonder why someone would do such a thing. Surely if they're selling it for 45,000 pounds they must be making a loss on it, when you could have a real DB9, V8 Vantage etc. for around the same price, it's a wonder what was going through the owners head... :umm:

 

 

 

It does look alright from what I can see though, I would imagine it can fool quite a few people with it's looks. Still, not something I'd do in a hurry (or at all)

There was one like this for sale around here a month or two ago. Can't remember if it was based on a Supra, but it was based on something Japanese and similar to a Supra at least. This one was in silver and just a standard 'DB9'.

There are so many replica cars getting around nowadays it's not even funny. Chances are if you saw a real Shelby Cobra out at a show or somewhere you'd instantly pass it off as a replica without a second look. :(

The rear lights are the wrong colour, completely wrecks the whole thing for me, otherwise It'd of been pretty convincing.
